Welcome back Universal fans. On this show Darren, Nina and Gregory talk to Lee and Tracey about the food and drink, entertainment and Interactive wands inside the new Universal Studios Florida attraction Diagon Alley.
They begin talking about the food options that can be found inside Diagon Alley, specifically inside The Leaky Cauldron restaurant.
We then move on to the MANY drinks that can be found inside Diagon Alley, from the obligatory Butterbeer to the Elixir’s from Eternelles Elixir of Refreshment via Fishy Green Ale, Dragon Scale and Wizards Brew.
Continuing on with food we head in to Florean Fortesque’s Ice Cream Shop and talk about everyone’s favourite and least favourite flavours, there are many to choose from which is yours?
Leaving the food options we head in to the ” Street Entertainment” that can be found in Carkitt Market. There are currently 2 shows and a musical act that can be seen every hour inside Diagon Alley.
The two shows are re-enactments of two stories from the book ” The Tales of Beedle the Bard”, The Tale of Three Brothers, which has been shown since opening day, is the story of how the Deathly Hallows came to be and the second show, The Fountain of Fair Fortune has only been shown inside Carkitt Market for a month or so.
The musical act that can be found is Celestina Warbeck and The Banshees, a Wizarding Jazz act and one of the most popular acts to be heard on the Wizarding Wireless Network.
These shows alternate on the hour.
Finally, We delve in to the Interactive wands that ca be purchased and used in Diagon Alley as well as Hogsmeade. These wands sell for $45 and can be used at the many stations around the lands, these locations are marked on the floor by a brass token and when you complete the spell as per the directions on the marker magic will happen.
