Back in March, we told you that our beloved Orlando cookie purveyors, Gideon’s Bakehouse, were opening a new dining concept at Disney Springs called Six Ravens, featuring “Coffyns” — an old-timey name for a hand pie.

The fluffy yeast bread is filled with flavors created by Gideon’s chefs and Orlando culinary collaborators. The café’s menu also includes potatoes (dubbed “tatties”), local draft beers, and of course, a Gideon’s-worthy dessert.

Six Ravens Soft Opening at Disney Springs
The grand opening will be announced when they’re completely ready (and a free gift will be offered to attendees), but in the meantime, Six Ravens soft opened on Monday, August 3, with a few caveats.
Know Before You Go:
- It’s dark and delightfully creepy inside.
- Each Six Ravens Coffyn and Smashed Potatoes comes with a dipping sauce. You can mix and match, but trust the menu pairings during early visits.
- Limit of 2 Coffyns per paying guest. Each Merry Meal box includes a knife, a tiny spoon, and a collectible sticker (PRO TIP: Cut your Coffyn in half and use the spoon to put the perfect amount of sauce on each bite).
- A Virtual Queue will be used when the line grows excessively long, meaning they take your number and text you when it’s your turn.

- No advance reservations and no Mobile Order — Six Ravens is walk-up only, so plan for a wait during the soft opening period.

- Collect the cards and stickers… don’t leave without picking up one of the beautiful menu cards given out by the Six Ravens crew. Creepy-but-cute character art on the outside, and current menu on the inside. The artwork will change throughout the seasons. There are also six different stickers that you can collect. The character changes throughout the seasons.

Six Ravens Location & Hours
Six Ravens took over the former Art of Shaving storefront in The Landing at Disney Springs, just around the corner from Gideon’s Bakehouse itself, and is currently serving from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily (check operating hours before arrival as they are likely to change as the new location settles into a normal routine).

Inside Six Ravens
We also learned a bit more storytelling about the new eatery:
In Six Ravens, you are surrounded by the finale of a story. Behind you is the moment the King and his crew complete their six trials and gain audience with The Six. They are depicted in carved ancient stone. In front of you is the found mural of The Six Ravens, which some say still holds otherworldly capacities.

Six Ravens was inspired by the success of its sister bakehouse, Gideon’s, just steps away…
What Is Gideon’s Bakehouse?
If you’ve never experienced Gideon’s Bakehouse — the Orlando bakery famous for its nearly half-pound cookies — what have you been waiting for? Though we do acknowledge the fact that the always-long line could be a deterrent for some, we encourage you to step into the queue for a bakery adventure you won’t soon forget. You’ll find it at The Landing in Disney Springs, just a short walk from Six Ravens.

Behind the doors you’ll find an experience that’s part Wizarding World, part Wonka factory, and part Halloweentown… all enveloped in the sweet smell of chocolate. Basically, Gideon’s is always worth the wait.

We love the original chocolate chip, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the massive cookies or cakes in Gideon’s cases.

And, as long as you’re there, try the peanut butter cold brew. It’s a dairy-free coffee concoction that we’re honestly obsessed with.

There’s also merchandise to tempt you. T-shirts, hats, stickers, pins, candles, and more are constantly being refreshed with new seasonal designs and new character art.

Oh, Gideon’s, how I do love thee. Cookies, cakes, cold brews. Divine. And now hand pies too?! If I have a criticism, it’s that there’s not enough capacity for the demand at either location. It sure would have been great if the new Six Ravens had a large table service space upstairs in addition to the quick-serve downstairs. I can just imagine a dark magic-inspired eatery with magical elements happening all around, complemented by inventive and delicious treats on the menu. Oh to dream…
While I understand the charm of staying small, the waits are going to be…murder. Oh, wait, that’s crows.
I see what you did there… 🐦⬛
It’s a gimmick to sell lame hot pockets, not a vegetable or healthy menu item in sight.
