A New Growth
An untamed bramble rambles its arms over the land of Lorcana, feeding on the flood ink spilled in sets past. This 13th set of Lorcana also brings more Pixar properties into the game. Monsters, Inc., Up, and Turning Red all make their debuts in the game.
Boxes, Playmats, and More!
All the regular accouterments are here in Attack of the Vine! Booster boxes, Illumineer’s Trove, playmats, a pre-release set, and a new Illumineer’s Quest.
Playmats of the Monsters, Inc. key art and Enchanted – Circle of Life art are priced at $19.99, and the foil Winnie the Pooh – Hunny Sage is expected to be $35 and sold exclusively at Disney locations. The prerelease pack for Attack of the Vine! comes with the same materials as the preceding set: One of six random promo cards, one of three random mini posters, a paper deck box, four damage dice counters, and one Pack Rush rules sheet, all for $39.99.

A New Illumineer’s Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue adds another edition of cooperative gameplay possibilities for Lorcana players. And the theming of Winnie the Pooh characters in their sorcerer garb is sure to be a hit among players and collectors alike. Grab your copy for $59.99

New Characters and Abilities!
New mechanics and gameplay possibilities are introduced in this set; Temporary Shift is an exciting addition. Previously, a shift character was permanent, but with the new Meilin Lee – Popular Red Panda, the shift only lasts for one turn, and the top card returns to hand at the end of your turn. This is a great way to envision her transformation into and out of Panda form and is an exciting variant on existing gameplay.
Furthermore, there are also new shift possibilities with team-up cards. For example, this Lilo and Stitch dual-ink card can be switched from a card named Lilo to one named Stitch. Notice the “Team” characteristic on the following two cards.
Even more interesting are the new Hunny characters, especially one very unique card. Christopher Robin – Hunny Sage allows your deck to play Hunny Characters that are of any ink type as long as they have the Hunny Characteristic. This is the first time in Disney Lorcana that a core constructed deck can be legal with more than two ink types.
The vine isn’t done with us yet. In its innate nature to grow and protect itself, the vine has produced the ‘Vineling’ characteristic, giving us new characters that seem eerily familiar.
And we cannot leave Attack of the Vine! before having a sneak peek at the enchanted and iconic cards from this new set. Every set seems to be more impressive than the next when it comes to these alternate extended art cards. And in this new art style of ‘Cinemayhem’ evokes vintage movie posters and I say that these are all blockbusters!
Out with the Old, In with the New
While we do not yet know the exact reprint numbers, there is a card rotation happening with set 13, Attack of the Vine! Sets 5-9 will no longer be legal in core constructed play; only sets 9-13 will be allowed in building your deck. Be sure to create the best one yet as you battle for the Set Championships and these hair-raising prizes.
LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE
Once we survive our Viney predicament, we travel into the city, Hyperia City, Set 14 of Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game. Hyperia City has a pre-release date of October 16 and wide release of October 23, 2026. Autumn is the perfect time of year to introduce Coco into Disney Lorcana.
And gazing further into the future, all the way into the beginning of 2027 is Set 15 Into The Inkdark. We cannot wait to see more villains like this Hades glimmer and the Quest-loving characters from Onward!
