Disneyland is about to unleash dozens of new (and returning) food and beverage items later this week. But a few noteworthy things stood out to us, including a revamped menu at Flo’s V-8 Cafe in Cars Land, the addition of twelve new plant-based items across the resort, a pair of adorable new novelty items, and the final act of Disneyland’s 70th-anniversary celebration, which returns on Jan. 8 and runs through Aug. 9, 2026.
So, let’s get to all the foodie news!
70th Celebration Bites & Sips
As Disneyland Resort kicks off the final leg of the resort-wide 70th-anniversary celebration on Jan. 8th, two anniversary favorites are back to finish out the party.

- Strawberry Shortcake Macaron at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe – Vanilla bean buttercream, strawberry jam, fresh strawberry, and strawberry whipped topping with strawberry crunch and a birthday candle
- 70th Stuff at Red Rose Taverne – Shortbread cookie with a cookies and cream cake, fresh raspberry, and raspberry jam surrounded with white chocolate mousse and topped with multicolored sprinkles.

The Strawberry Shortcake Macaron is available starting Jan. 8, and 70th Stuff is available from Jan. 8 through 21 and then again from Mar. 2 through Aug. 9. Mobile order will be available for both.
Also, back on Jan. 8 at Jolly Holiday and Market House in Disneyland and at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe in California Adventure, is the Mickey Hat Cookie (a sweet-dough cookie dipped in black chocolate with chocolate decoration).

New Lemon Chiffon Tea at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe – Sweet tea topped with lemon chiffon foam (Non-alcoholic)

New Sweet Heat Beignet Chicken Sandwich at Tiana’s Palace – Fried chicken, Buffalo sauce, and creamy slaw on fresh beignets served with collard greens and house-made pickles
New Yuzu Lemonade at Harbour Galley – Lemonade with yuzu juice and rainbow jelly topping (Non-alcoholic)

New Strawberry, Hazelnut, Chocolate & Pistachio Mickey Shake at Schmoozies! –Strawberry shake with pistachio whipped topping, fried kataifi, and chocolate sauce (Non-alcoholic)

New Mickey-shaped Cinnamon Roll Macaron at the Cappuccino Cart in San Fransokyo Square –Cinnamon roll macaron shell filled with cream cheese buttercream and cinnamon caramel
New Watermelon Cotton Candy with 70th Anniversary Bag at Outdoor Vending Locations in California Adventure
Paint the Night Dining Package
The Paint the Night Parade will return to Main Street U.S.A. on Jan. 30, and with it, the Paint the Night Dining Package at Plaza Inn (reservations recommended).

The package is available for booking from Jan. 30 through Aug. 9, 2026, and includes lunch from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Plaza Inn, as well as a voucher for reserved viewing for the parade’s first performance of the day.
Adult Dining Package Menu (vegetarian options available: Herb-roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, buttered haricot verts served with caramelized onion sauce, Hawaiian roll, and a raspberry chocolate tart
Child Dining Package Menu (vegetarian options available): Chicken tenders, mac and cheese, vegetables, applesauce, Hawaiian roll, and dessert
Lunch package prices are $58 per adult; $32 per child ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity not included).
Know Before You Go:
- Valid Disneyland Park admission and Disneyland Park reservations for the same date are required and not included in the package price.
- A reservation for this dining package does not guarantee Disneyland Park admission or a park reservation.
- Reserve a dining time between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to pick up your meal.
- A voucher is needed to enter the viewing area (one voucher will be issued for each dining package purchased)
- Vouchers are valid only for the designated showtime on the same day as the dining experience.
- The viewing area is mainly standing room or ground seating and is separate from the dining location. Special seating requests or preferences will not be accommodated except for wheelchair accessibility.
- Early and late arrivals will not be accommodated.

New Menu at Flo’s V8 Cafe
On Jan. 20, Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land is getting a souped-up menu, with eight new food items and three new drinks. Mobile order will be available.

Food Items:
New “Big Dipper” Cheeseburger: Beef patty, American cheese, B&B pickles, and caramelized onions on a toasted bun with pepperoncini cheese sauce served with a choice of Cuties Mandarin Oranges or fries

New Winner’s Circle Chicken and Waffle: Crispy, golden-fried chicken and buttermilk waffle with whipped butter and maple syrup

New Fillmore Groovy Greens: Romaine and kale, bean and corn salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, crispy quinoa, toasted sunflower seeds, and zesty dressing (Plant-based)

New Plant-Based Items
There was a noticeable absence of plant-based items at the Festival of Holidays marketplaces which posed a challenge to non-meat and non-dairy eaters (especially since there are usually quite a few options), so we’re extra happy to see 12 new plant-based items on menus in both parks beginning Jan. 8, including the new Fillmore Groovy Greens salad at Flo’s.

New Plant-based Garden Grain Salad at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe (mobile order available): Arugula, roasted red pepper, cucumber, couscous, farro, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, croutons, and red wine vinaigrette served with a breadstick

New Plant-Based Impossible Meatloaf at River Belle Terrace (reservations recommended) –Served with roasted potatoes, garden vegetables, tomato glaze, and fried shallots
New Plant-Based Hacienda Salad at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante: Kale-romaine mix, cilantro avocado ranch, grilled achiote-marinated mushrooms, grilled nopal salsa, and grilled chile-lime corn riblets
New Plant-Based Caesar Salad Garden Wrap at Cafe Daisy (mobile order available): Romaine and kale salad with sundried tomato bean spread, and creamy Caesar dressing served with fries

New Plant-Based Ratatouille Soup at Harbour Galley (mobile order available): Roasted tomatoes, garlic, zucchini, and eggplant garnished with roasted squash and eggplant with garlic bread topper

New Plant-Based Bulgogi Bean Salad at Bengal Barbecue (mobile order available): Cucumber, edamame, chickpeas, and bell peppers tossed in ginger-scallion dressing

New Plant-Based San Fransokyo Noodle Stir-Fry at Lucky Fortune Cookery (mobile order available): Fried tofu, broccoli, mushrooms, sesame oil, and soy sauce (kids’ version also available)

There will be two new plant-based items on the menu at Cafe Orleans (reservations recommended):
- New Plant-Based Provençal Bean & Herb Pesto Salad (field beans, olives, heirloom tomatoes, and pickled shallots with pesto dressing
- New Plant-Based Garden Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie: Okra, onions, carrots, and mushrooms topped with mashed potatoes
Aunt Cass Cafe will also add two new plant-based items on Jan. 8 (mobile order available):
- New Plant-Based Ginger-Sesame Tofu Salad: Marinated tofu, romaine lettuce, and ginger-sesame dressing
- New Plant-Based Dutch Crunch Baguette

Returning to Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo on Jan. 8 is the Plant-Based Felucian Kefta Garden Spread made with Impossible meatballs, herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish, and pita (mobile order available).
