For nearly 30 years, fall has brought the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival to Walt Disney World. One of four festivals that transform Epcot throughout the year, Food and Wine is arguably one of the most popular events on WDW property… and for good reason. From festival-exclusive sips and bites to live concerts and family-friendly scavenger hunts, Epcot Food and Wine Festival brings new experiences to the already-popular theme park

Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2025

I’ve been attending the festival for a decade, and there are certain non-negotiable things my family experience every time we visit, and lucky for you, I’m sharing my “Must-Dos” for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, this year running from August 28 through November 22, 2025.

New (and Old) Epcot Food and Wine Festival Eats

During the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Global Marketplaces are set up around the park, serving authentic dishes from around the world, including Mexico, China, India, Germany, Spain, Italy, and many, many more.

Two new marketplaces open September 28, 2025, near Creations Shop & Refreshment Station: The seafood-focused Coastal Eats featuring Crab Cakes, Peruvian Ceviche, and Seaside Pot Pie and Gyozas of the Galaxy serving Buffalo-style, French Onion Soup-style, and Street Corn-style Dumplings.

There are always new things to try like the Korean barbecue wings at the Brew-Wing Lab and a mixed berry pavlova dessert at the Australia kiosk. Other all-new menu items this year include cast iron-seared river trout at the Bramblewood Bites kiosk, Beijing zhajiang noodles in the China Pavilion, and Peruvian ceviche at the Coastal Bites kiosk.

Our merch maven, Natalie Kipper, tried the Osakana Karaage (Crispy-fried Pollock with Spicy Mayonnaise and a Sweet-and-Creamy Yuzu Sauce) and the Teriyaki Chicken Bun filled with Minced Chicken, Vegetables, and Teriyaki Sauce (both from the Japan Marketplace) and the Kirschwasser Torte with Cherry-Brandy Buttercream, Fondant, Sugared Almonds, and Cherry Compote from The Alps Marketplace.

And yes, there are many international wines and beers to sample, as well as zero-proof cocktails and other non-alcoholic options for the sober crowd.

But there are some festival-favorite food and drink offerings return every year like pão de queijo (cheese bread) at the Brazil kiosk and filet mignon in the Canada area of the park. These items are definitely worth trying because they’re so delicious (why they make an appearance year after year).

Also back again this year is the love-it-or-hate-it Pickle Milkshake at the Muppets-themed Brew-Wing Lab.

Eat to the Beat Concert Series

The Epcot Food and Wine festival is about more than just food and wine. During the event, the America Gardens Theater (the amphitheater in the The American Adventure area of World Showcase) becomes a live concert venue for a wide range of popular musical artists. These concerts are always lively and fun, and best of all, admission is included with your Epcot ticket.

In 2025, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series includes performances on select nights at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8 p.m., with acts like Tiffany (Sept. 26 and 27), Smashmouth (Oct. 26 and 27), Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (Oct. 31 and Nov. 1), and The Beach Boys (Nov. 16 and 17). You can see the full concert schedule HERE.

Guests can line up before the concert to grab a seat, but spots are first-come, first-served, so my tip for making sure you get a good spot for a band you really want to see is reserving a Concert Series Dining Package. These pre-fixe meals are available at most sit-down restaurants in Epcot (cost varies depending on the restaurant, but they all include reserved seating for the show. They also count as one table-service meal for the Disney Dining Plan.

Three Exciting Scavenger Hunts

One of my favorite ways to engage in the Food and Wine Festival is to participate in the scavenger hunts throughout the event. In 2025, there are three: Emile’s Fromage Montage, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak, and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit

These hunts aren’t just for kids; they’re a great way for guests of all ages to experience the festival as you search for additions to your map or booklet.

Fromage Montage

All you have to do to participate is pick up a festival passport (the paper booklet that lists all of the food and drink offerings for the festival) and purchase any five of the nine featured dishes. The only cost is purchasing the foods on the list.

This years cheese-forward choices are:

🧀 Fall Fruit Cheesecake featuring Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheese with Pomegranates and Candied Pecans—from the Milled & Mulled marketplace

🧀 Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, Pecorino Cheese, Pomegranate Seeds and Hazelnut Praline—from the Forest & Field marketplace

🧀 Pineapple Cheesecake with Passion Fruit Curd and Macadamia Nuts—from the Hawai’i marketplace

🧀 Basque Cheesecake with Orange Sauce—from the Spain marketplace

🧀 Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese and Alpine Ham with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette—from The Alps marketplace

🧀 Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette—from The Alps marketplace

🧀 Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread—from the Brazil marketplace

🧀 Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey—from the Greece marketplace

🧀 Schinkennudeln: Pasta Gratin with Ham, Onions, and Cheese—from the Germany marketplace

Each time you purchase a cheesy treat, ask a cast member to stamp your passport, and when you’ve collected five stamps, visit the Shimmering Sips food stand to pick up a prize.

Remy’s Hide and Squeak

Remy’s scavenger hunt costs $11.99 for a map, which can be purchased in select shops. To complete the hunt, search for Remy statues throughout the park.

Epcot Food and Wine Festival

Whenever you find Remy, place the corresponding sticker in the right spot on the map. Completed maps can be turned in for a prize at select shops around Epcot.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit

Pluto’s hunt for pumpkins works the exact same way, only you’re searching for festive pumpkins instead of our favorite rat chef. Like Remy’s hunt, Pluto’s map costs $11.99 and can be turned in for a prize.

Disney Magic in Photo Form

Disney PhotoPass photos have a special place in my heart, as they’re a big part of how I’ve kept mementos of my travels to Disney parks with my family. In addition to the average meet-and-greet photo with Mickey, there are several festival-exclusive Magic Shots offered during Food and Wine. Collecting them all can make for a fun festival keepsake, especially if you’ve got Disney PhotoPass as part of your park admission.

2025 PhotoPass Photo Opps:

  • A “Leaning Tower of Cheeza” Magic Shot with characters from “A Goofy Movie” in the Italy Pavilion
  • A Magic Shot with a giant empanada shot in the Mexico Pavilion
  • A Magic Shot featuring characters from “Elemental” in CommuniCore Hall and The Seas with Nemo and Friends
  • Ratatouille-themed photo opportunities in the France Pavilion and along the International Gateway Bridge
  • A Magic Shot featuring international flag-clad Mickey balloons in World Celebration and at the main entrance
  • A Chef Figment Magic Shot at the park’s main entrance and in World Celebration

Epcot Food and Wine Festival Merchandise

No Disney festival would be complete without special merchandise, and Epcot Food and Wine is certainly no exception. In addition to pretty adorable Chef Figment products and lots of festival-themed glassware and Corksicle products, be on the lookout for a Food and Wine Festival Spirit Jersey, and Remy and Muppets-themed items.

Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2025

You’ll be able to find merchandise exclusive to the 2025 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival all over Epcot, including in Creations Shop and at various market kiosks set up around the festival.
