Star Wars Nite 2025 has taken over Disneyland on select nights from April 8 through May 6—and there’s still time to join the Rebellion (or the First Order, if that’s more your vibe). This separately ticketed after-hours event invites fans to live their Star Wars dreams with rare character encounters, themed food, lightsaber photo ops, and surprisingly short ride lines.

We strapped our lightsabers to our waists and headed into the night to check it all out for you. And if you’re not a Force user—no worries… This is the way…

Disneyland Star Wars Nite – What You Need To Know
The separately tickets after-hours events officially start at 9 p.m. and run until 1 a.m., but ticket holders can enter Disneyland Park as early as 6 p.m., giving them up to 7 full hours to sample Star Wars-themed food and beverages, purchase event-exclusive merch, pose at special photo ops, and meet a wide range of characters from a galaxy not all that far, far away.
Party guests also enjoy reduced wait times for attractions – and any time you can walk right onto Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, it’s a good day.
Star Wars Nite tickets are still available for April 29 ($169), May 1 ($179), and May 6 ($179).

While Disneyland’s costume guidelines must be followed, party guests are able to dress as their favorite Star Wars characters… and they definitely do!

Below, we’ll focus on the special characters, photo opportunities, merchandise, and entertainment of Star Wars Nite. But many of Disneyland’s attractions remain open during the event, including the Star Wars themed rides.
Galactic Encounters
As expected, most character meet-and-greets are in Tomorrowland and Galaxy’s Edge (but if you’re hoping to meet Luke Skywalker, you’ll find him in Galaxy’s Edge during the day).

On the night we attended, the meet-and-greet lines were fairly short (about 30 minutes), except for Darth Vader, who had a 45- to 60-minute wait when we checked at 10 pm.
Here are some other Star Wars characters to keep an eye out for:
- Adventureland – Jawas

- Bayou Country – Ewoks
- Fantasyland – Anakin Skywalker and Queen Amidala

- Galaxy’s Edge – Ahsoka Tano, Fennec Shand, Kylo Ren, and The Mandalorian with Grogu

- Tomorrowland – Friends of the Rebellion, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Captain Phasma & Stormtroopers, Darth Maul Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla & Chopper, Droids of the Galaxy

While there was no March of the First Order show this year, we did see Captain Phasma out and about in Tomorrowland.
Star Wars Nite Photo Ops
In addition to characters, there are also photo opportunities of various complexities. Lines for photo ops were all fairly short (about 10 minutes) when we attended the party.
- Main Street U.S.A. – Light Side Photo Location, Dark Side Photo Location, Star Wars Nite Lightsaber Photo Op
- New Orleans Square – Scarif Postcard
- Bayou Country – Speeder Bikes, Endor Postcard

- Frontierland – Mythosaur, Mustafar Postcard, Tatooine Postcard
- Fantasyland – Jabba the Hutt, Hoth Postcard
- Tomorrowland – Boba Fett Throne, Emperor Palpatine Throne, Bo-Katan Throne

Entertainment
Star Wars fans who have attended the after-hours events in the past will likely miss the fireworks, but there was still plenty to keep us busy during the night.
A Gathering of the Resistance with Rey at the Millennium Falcon (takes place three times throughout the event).

Lightsaber Instructional at the Fantasyland Theatre
This year, the experience was geared more toward adults than kids and the routine was much more complicated than in the past, it was a nice improvement.

Galactic DJ Party Zone at Main Street U.S.A.

There’s also live music from Figrin D’An and the Modal Nodes at Rivers of America and a Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade on Main Street U.S.A.
In addition, the new Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga projection show that debuted for Season of the Force is presented in Galaxy’s Edge at 9 pm and 12:30 am.

Here’s HD video of the show:

Star Wars Nite 2025 Merchandise
