Disneyland Paris Resort is in the midst of a major transformation, with updates to Disney Village, overhauled hotels, a new Tangled-inspired attraction, 15 new dining locations, and a new nighttime spectacular staged on the resort’s newly formed lake.
As part of this expansion, Walt Disney Studios Park will almost double in size and officially take on a new name: Disney Adventure World.

The biggest news tied to this transformation is the opening of World of Frozen on March 29, 2026. But that’s just the start, Disney is already developing a major Lion King–themed world around the lagoon as the park’s next headlining expansion.

Beyond these new lands, Disney Adventure World includes Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar… but the fun starts in Hollywood at World Premiere, the park’s renewed entrance unveiled last May.
World Premiere
Formerly known as Disney Studio 1, the entrance building has been completely reimagined as a glamorous film premiere venue, drawing inspiration from Hollywood Boulevard. Inside, guests will find nods to beloved Disney, Marvel, and Pixar stories, along with new dining and shopping options.

The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant will offer indoor quick-service meals in a space that mimics an outdoor garden setting, while the nearby Searchlight kiosk will provide snacks and drinks on the go.

Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, modeled after a 1920s department store, will round out the offerings with themed merchandise.

Exiting the building, guests will step into World Premiere Plaza—an open-air space inspired by Broadway and the West End. This new hub will celebrate Disney and Pixar stories with theatrical decor, landscaped seating areas, and colorful murals designed to immerse guests in the magic of storytelling from the moment they enter.

Adventure Way
The Adventure Way promenade will feature live entertainment and themed gardens, including the Toy Story Garden, where statues of Woody and Jessie stand among trees trimmed into toy shapes, and The Gazebo Garden, adorned with statues inspired by “Winnie the Pooh,” “Peter Pan,” and “One Hundred and One Dalmatians.” Adventure Way will also include a brand-new musical score composed exclusively for the promenade.

The 14 brand-new food and beverage locations along Adventure Way will include La Terrasse Panoramique, serving hearty bread bowls, New York rolls, and hot beverages, and Café Luminosity, featuring an original hot dog with four signature recipes, paired with sweet treats like cinnamon rolls. Chalets and mobile carts will offer snacks like filled brioche rolls, stuffed potato waffles, and desserts inspired by Disney Princesses.
Seasonal entertainment will include Rapunzel and Flynn’s Musical Encounter in spring, Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band in summer, Miguel’s Latin Festival in fall, and a variety of character meet-and-greets starting next November. The lively Disney Marching Band—led by Minnie Mouse herself—will parade down Adventure Way playing favorite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel tunes.
The West Pavilion on the banks of Adventure Bay will offer the chance to meet Mickey and Minnie in new Victorian outfits. Shortly after the opening in 2026, additional characters will join them.

Raiponce Tangled Spin
A new family attraction on Adventure Way, Raiponce Tangled Spin, will take guests on a spin in a gondola beneath a sky filled with floating lanterns… accompanied by “I See the Light,” of course.

Fun Fact: Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, recorded exclusive audio announcements for the attraction.
The whimsical world of “Up” will also come to life through a family-friendly, wave swinger flying carousel on Adventure Way.

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge
Just beyond Raiponce Tangled Spin, the table-service Regal View Restaurant & Lounge will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and the chance to meet Disney princesses, including Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan, and Ariel.

On the lounge side, the very first bar located inside either of the two Disneyland Paris parks features a wooden bar accented with gold and artwork celebrating the animal companions of the Disney princesses, including Heihei from “Moana,” Pascal from “Tangled,” and Mushu from “Mulan.” Both the restaurant and lounge will feature views of Adventure Bay and World of Frozen, making it the perfect spot to watch the new nighttime show.
New Nighttime Show
At park close, Adventure Bay will become the stage for Disney Cascade of Lights, a new 360-degree show inspired by “Mulan,” “Hercules,” “Moana,” “Zootopia,” “Up,” and the Marvel Universe. The World of Color type spectacular will feature hundreds of drones, choreographed fountains, water screens, and pyrotechnics, all set to new arrangements of Disney classics and an original anthem, “We Can Be Heroes.”

Disney says the new nighttime spectacular will feature the world’s first integration of an aquatic drone system alongside next-generation aerial drones, creating choreography across sky and water.
World of Frozen
Disney’s third Frozen-themed land (the others are at Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea) will feature an updated version of the family-friendly Frozen Ever After boat ride through scenes from the films, enhanced by 34 state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics figures and cutting-edge projection technology.

The land will also include a Royal Encounter with Anna and Elsa inside Arendelle Castle, the daytime A Celebration in Arendelle show, the quick-service Nordic Crowns Tavern, and exclusive merchandise at Arendelle Boutique.

A Celebration in Arendelle
A brand new stage show, presented several times a day on Arendelle Bay, will bring the Snowflower Festival to life. The show unfolds aboard three majestic Viking longships, crafted through a partnership between Imagineering and a renowned French shipbuilder from the Bordeaux region.

Iconic songs from the Frozen movies, like “Let It Go” and “Show Yourself,” are joined by new music composed exclusively for Disneyland Paris by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the award-winning duo behind the original “Frozen” and “Frozen 2” soundtracks.
The Flavors of Arendelle
Nordic Crowns Tavern will be open for lunch and dinner and features décor that tells the story of the kingdom through paintings and royal artifacts.

Here guests can enjoy a customizable dining experience inspired by Nordic cuisine, with a menu of 16 possible combinations that include a hearty base like mashed potatoes or quinoa paired with proteins such as grilled salmon or Nordic meatballs, seasonal vegetables, and a choice of cranberry or creamy dill sauce.

Nordic Crowns Tavern’s frosty desserts include blue sorbet, vanilla ice cream with customizable toppings, delicate snowflake treats, and traditional pastries.
World of Frozen Shopping
Arendelle Boutique, the village’s signature shop, will sell merchandise from the films in addition to an exclusive collection celebrating Scandinavian craftsmanship. Looking to stroll through the kingdom in style? A new line of Nordic garments features embroidered fabrics and floral patterns.

At the Fjord View Shop, Rúna is a baby troll toy that reacts to touch, blinks her eyes, moves her ears, lights up, and communicates with other trolls she encounters. Exclusively available in World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris, she will also interact with locations in Arendelle, the villagers, and Queens Anna and Elsa.

I’m Olaf, and I like Warm Hugs
The new Frozen-themed land at Disneyland Paris is also getting a groundbreaking next-generation robotic version of Olaf, the adorable snowman from the Frozen movies (voiced by Disney Legend, Josh Gad).

Olaf’s debut marks the next chapter in Disney animatronic innovation, combining technology and storytelling to bring animated characters to life offscreen. Of course, Olaf is made of “snow,” an effect which is enhanced by iridescent fibers. The robotic Olaf can fully articulate his mouth and eyes, as well as his removable carrot nose and arms. He can also talk and engage in conversations.

Olaf will venture into Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026. He’ll also be making a limited-time special appearance at World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

What Else is Coming to Disney Adventure World?
Construction is already underway on Disney’s first area themed to “The Lion King,” which will include a water-based thrill attraction with next-generation Audio-Animatronics figures and songs from the movie.
New Lion King Land
Disneyland Paris first announced its plans for an immersive Lion King-themed land during the 2024 D23 Expo. Disney’s first land themed to the 1994 animated film will feature a major new attraction that takes guests on a journey into the Pride Lands alongside Simba.

The new Lion King-themed land could open in 2027 or ’28.
This is how Disney described the new log ride experience:
“After making their way to the caves beneath the 37-meter-high (121 feet) Pride Rock, guests will embark on a wondrous, and sensational adventure through iconic scenes and sceneries from the beloved animated movie, navigating a path with three exciting slopes, including an impressive 16-meter-high (52 feet) descent.”

Disneyland Paris Resort Hotel News
Following the grand reopening of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021 and the reimagining of the Disneyland Hotel in 2024, the next hotels in line for updates at Disneyland Paris are Disney Sequoia Lodge and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch.

Inspired by American National Parks, Disney Sequoia Lodge will be reimagined to celebrate nature escapes alongside forest animals from classic Disney films. The project, set to begin in 2026, will retain the hotel’s signature woodsy decor and cozy atmosphere—offered since its 1992 debut—but will introduce “greater brightness and a touch of modernity,” according to Disneyland Paris.

Updates will span guest rooms, the lobby, dining spaces, and retail locations, which the resort describes as “an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander.”

Meanwhile, over at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, the current bungalows are being replaced with updated accommodations designed to offer a more modern and comfortable guest experience. The refreshed interiors will feature characters like Donald and Daisy Duck, along with the Junior Woodchucks—the scouting group that includes Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Bookings for the newly updated bungalows opened June 12, 2025.

Updates for Disney Village at Disneyland Paris
Disney Village, Disneyland Paris’ shopping and dining district, is also in the midst of a major refresh, with new shops, restaurants, and redesigns.

Two new retail locations, Disney Glamour and Disney Style, have already opened on April 19, 2025. The area welcomed a reimagined LEGO Store and Deco by Disney (a home goods and décor shop).

The existing Disney Store is becoming Disney Wonders, a revamped shopping destination with merchandise from across Disney’s major franchises, all under one roof.

Brasserie Rosalie, the French restaurant that debuted in 2023, will expand with a new terrace dining space called Petite Rosalie—designed for al fresco meals on sunny days.

Looking ahead to 2026, Disney Village will add two new dining options: a McDonald’s and Casa Giulia, a two-story Italian restaurant that will bring even more variety to the area’s evolving food scene.
