Fans of Disney—and Disney Legend Bob Gurr—will be doubly excited for the opportunity to attend the world premiere of “Bob Gurr: Living by Design,” a documentary celebrating the life and legacy of one of the last living members of Walt Disney’s original team of Imagineers.
The one-night-only event will take place on April 26, 2025, at Alex Theatre in Glendale, Calif., complete with a red carpet arrival, celebrity guests, and a post-screening Q&A with Bob himself (who, at 93, is just as charming and inspiring as ever). This is a unique opportunity, not only to be part of a Hollywood-style premiere, but interact with a Disney Legend.

From the Matterhorn Bobsleds to the Monorail to Autopia, Bob Gurr created many of Disneyland’s most beloved attractions—as he says, “If it moves on wheels at Disneyland, I probably designed it.”
The documentary is a comprehensive look at the life and career of the creative force behind many Disneyland attractions, and provides insight into Bob’s curiosity, innovation, and design philosophy that shaped not just Disney parks — but themed entertainment around the world.
