It’s been 31 years (almost right down to the day) since the Sanderson Sisters put a spell on us in “Hocus Pocus,” and on Sept. 20, 2024, fans of the classic Halloween movie can step inside the Old Town Hall in Salem, Mass., for the exclusive “I Put A Spell On You Masquerade.”
Salem’s Old Town Hall is featured during the 1993 film’s pivotal (and now iconic) Halloween party scene when Winifred (Bette Midler), Mary (Kathy Najimy), and Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) literally cast a spell on Salem’s townsfolk during a performance of the 1956 “Screamin’ Jay” Hawkins song, “I Put a Spell on You.”
Now you too can attend a one-night-only Halloween party at Old Town Hall in Salem, Mass., including live performances by Salem’s favorite Witch Sister Trio; a DJ dance party featuring music from the 80s, 90s, and today (plus favorite Halloween tunes, of course), bars, souvenir gift bags, and more.
“I’ve always loved the idea of celebrating films in their actual shooting locations,” says event producer Jeff DePaoli. “Halloween is my favorite day of the year, therefore an on-location ‘Hocus Pocus’ event has been on the top of my list for a long time and I’m excited to make it a reality this year. I frequently visit filming locations for fun, but recreating a scene at a location makes the experience even more unforgettable.”

- General Admission ($150 + fees): Includes access to the 4-hour party (6:30 – 10:30 p.m.), two drink tickets to use at the bar, and souvenir gifts.

This artwork was created in 1992 during pre-production for the film.
“I Put A Spell On You Masquerade” is for guests 18+, and costumes are required. The event is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company.
