D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) was quite the whirlwind weekend, full of Disney Parks news, larger-than-life exhibits, and, of course, tons and tons of merchandise! But even if you didn’t have a chance to experience the event in person, you still have a way to score several D23 merchandise collections, which are now available from the Disney Store and at the Disneyland Resort.
And without further ado, let’s get to the goods!
UPDATED on August 12, 2024, with photos and information on finding D23 merchandise at Disneyland.
Finding D23 Merchandise After the End of the Event
Did you miss D23 but still want a chance at owning some of the event’s merchandise? You’re in luck! Many of the items, that we have linked to this guide, are currently sold online at DisneyStore.com. But you’d better hurry; the stock won’t last long.
Another method is to make a trip to the Disneyland Resort, where we spotted several items at several shopping locations.

A Few of Our Favorite Things From D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event
Throughout D23, we saw so much merchandise that our heads (and wallets) were spinning! Here are some of the merchandise highlights from the event:
If you attended D23, what were your top merchandise picks?
Disneyland 70th Anniversary Collection
Jumbo pins, Spirit Jerseys, hats, and tumblers are among the first merchandise to honor Disneyland’s 70th birthday, all debuting at D23.
Disneyland Paris Collection
This merchandise collection traveled all the way from Disneyland Paris for D23.

D23 A Walk in Disneyland Artist Collection
Designed by artists Ashley Eckstein and Ashley Taylor, this collection celebrates the classic icons that we love and associate with the Happiest Place on Earth.
His and her apparel comes in the form of this woven shirt ($59.99) and this matching dress ($128.99).

Another part of this collection is this tea cup with Tinker Bell infuser set ($34.99).

D23 Ichabod & Mr. Toad 75th Anniversary Collection
As the title of the collection suggests, “Walt Disney Presents The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad” is celebrating its 75th anniversary (it debuted in 1949).
The fashion T-shirt ($34.99) from this collection features art taken from the original movie poster. Meanwhile, the varsity jacket ($149.99) is decorated with characters on the back, along the arms, and in the jacket’s lining.

Mr. Toad’s automobile-obsessed face is found on of the ear headband‘s ($44.99) ears, with the year “’49” opposite it. Ichabod and Katrina Van Tassel occupy the bow with a charm of the Headless Horseman at the center.
The front pocket of the Loungefly mini backpack ($99) is detachable to form a separate belt bag. Flip the switch on the inside of that pocket to turn on Mr. Toad’s headlights!

Round out the ensemble with this pocket watch by Bulova ($150).

For decor, this light-up figure set ($229) of Ichabod and the Headless Horseman is perfect for Halloween.

Disney Designer Collection: Midnight Masquerade – Fashionably Late
The Midnight Masquerade Series in the Disney Designer Collection of limited edition dolls dresses Disney heroines and villains as they are attending a swanky masquerade ball.
The series includes limited-edition figures ($129.99 each or as a six-piece set for $779) of Alice (limited to 4000 pieces), Snow White, Ariel, Gaston, the Queen of Hearts (limited to 3450 pieces), and Mother Gothel. There are also two-doll sets of Anastasia & Drizella and Aladdin & Jasmine ($299.99 each, limited to 1000 pieces each). Each character is dressed in formal attire that takes inspiration from their original outfit, along with details referencing different aspects of their story (some are pretty subtle, like the antler embroidery on Gaston’s cape because he uses it in all of his decorating).

The masks and concept for the two-doll sets are also recreated in a pin set ($125, limited to 200 pieces).

Disney Lacers
Put your best foot forward… and into these new mystery vinyl figures! Inside every Disney Lacers mystery box is one shoe, completely covered with a design inspired by a Disney character (even the sole is included in the design!). Each comes packaged in a custom-designed shoe box with matching tissue inserts.
Disney Lacers Series One (available individually for $16.99 or as a set for $99.99) includes shoes themed to Stitch, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Disney Princesses, Dumbo, and one mystery character.

Disney Lacers Series Two (available individually for $16.99 or as a set for $99.99) includes Snow White (1 in 6 chances), Maleficent (2 in 9 chances), Peter Pan (1 in 6 chances), The Three Little Pigs (1 in 6 chances), Hercules & Hydra (2 in 9 chances), and a mystery figure (1 in 18 chances).

There are also two limited edition styles ($24.99 each): one celebrating Donald Duck’s 90th birthday and one that is also part of the Star Wars: Dark Side Collection.

D23 Star Wars: Dark Side Artist Collection
Come to the Dark Side; we have D23 merchandise! The items in this collection feature graphics by artist Alex Riegert-Waters.
This mini backpack ($89) and this ear headband ($44.99) with a removable bow are courtesy of Loungefly.

And coming to us from Spirit Jersey is this Spirit Jersy for adults ($79.99).

For decor, this collection offers a Darth Vader figurine ($49.99) with a light-up lightsaber and a matted art print ($44.99) by Alex Riegart-Waters entitled “The Dark Side,” which includes many fan-favorite villains of the Star Wars universe.

Or take your villainy on the go with this Starbucks tumbler with straw ($44.99).
D23 Heroes and Villains Collection
This collection honors the age-old battle of good versus evil often found in Disney storylines.
One of Disney’s most beloved (?) villains, Maleficent, is reimagined as a small backpack ($49.99) and ear headband ($44.99).

Princess Jasmine and the wicked vizier Jafar take the spotlight on the puck of this limited-edition MagicBand+ ($64.99). Silhouettes and icons representing other Disney princesses and villains are printed along the band.

In the Heroes and Villains Figurine set by Stacey Aoyama, heroes are paired with their corresponding villains in two-piece figurine sets ($39.99 each): Briar Rose and Maleficent, Hercules and Hades, Jasmine and Jafar, Snow White and Evil Queen, and Ariel and Ursula.

The battle between good and evil just got a whole lot cuddlier with the Wishables Good vs. Evil Series ($14.99 each). Inside the mystery bag, you’ll find either Princess Jasmine, Prince Phillip, Ursula, Snake Jafar, or Dragon Maleficent. Princess Ariel isn’t part of that world but is available for purchase separately.
D23 Mary Poppin 60th Anniversary Collection
This practically perfect merchandise collection celebrates the 60th anniversary of Mary Poppins.

The design of this ear headband by Loungefly ($44.99) is inspired by Mary’s outfit from her outing in the park. One of the penguin waiters stands at the center of the bow.

This dapper penguin waiter plush ($34.99) is ready to serve up cuddles, armed with a tray and tea towel. A “Mary Poppins 60th Anniversary” logo is embroidered on the front of the towel. The plush itself is made with a silver metallic flecked fabric, giving it that extra touch.

Haunted Mansion Collection

Now, this is one impressive Madame Leota figure ($199)! An internal projection system and sound box allow the illuminated psychic medium to chant her familiar incantations from the ride. Other details in simulated leather on the chair and light-up candles.

We get the feeling that we’ll be seeing a murder of these ominous Raven magnetic shoulder plushes ($29.99) at D23. Tap the craven fellow’s head to light up his eyes and hear him caw!

Disney Parks Logo Play Collection
For a simple yet classic look, try this collection on for size.
The varsity jacket ($149.99) incorporates imagery from the Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts in various ways throughout its design. The different styles of “D” icons for each resort are represented as patches on the right sleeve, and the full names of the resorts (sans “resort”) are patched across the back. The front breast’s “D23” and the “all started with a mouse” quote on the left sleeve honor The Walt Disney Studios’ beginnings.

The baseball cap ($34.99) has a “WD” chenille patch on the front. On the right side is a smaller patch that reads, “Make your dreams here. You will find treasures to prize for a lifetime and experiences you will relive for years to come,” along with the Disneyland and Walt Disney World logos.

Star Wars Must-Haves
Who knows who you’ll find in this Ewok mystery plush box?

I know many Star Wars and Disney Parks enthusiasts are going to want this limited-edition Star Tours StarSpeeder 3000 Vehicle Play Set ($300, limited to 3000 pieces). Not only does it include collectible RX-24 and R2-D2 Droid Factory figures, but the vehicle is decked out with an immense amount of details. The vehicle’s 25 seats have working elastic, clip-in seat belts, and the door opens with the chime heard on the attraction. But the highlight is the screen inside that plays content from the ride!

If you want to focus more on the droids of the Star Wars universe, there are plenty for you. The R6-D23 Droid Factory figure ($14.99) is equipped with the magic hat from The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

There is also a Pit Droid Interactive Figure ($49.99) with a variety of sound effects and thanks to its 19 points of articulation, it can fold into its “rest mode” stance.

And then there is also a limited-release RX-24 talking action figure ($34.99) with 13 points of articulation and light and sound effects with character phrases, which work in sync to make appear as though he is talking.

From the Galactic Archive series, we have replicas of Blade of Ochi of Bestoon ($79.99, Disney Store exclusive) and Kylo Ren’s Reforged Helmet ($119.99).

[Disney Store exclusive] Looking for a lightsaber? How about three? This Star Wars: The Clone Wars lightsaber hilt set ($550, limited to 3000 pieces) includes hilts inspired by those used by Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker in The Clone Wars series. The collector’s box they are stored in has images of the characters carved into it, along with their names written in Aurebesh.

Marvel Must-Haves
As for replicas from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans will be excited to find Iron Man’s electronic helmet ($139.99) with a motorized opening face mask and Captain America’s battle-damaged shield ($400, limited to 1500 pieces). Both pieces feature light and sound effects and include a display stand.

This special edition of Iron Man Mark LXXX 1/6th Scale Die Cast Figure by Hot Toys ($400) features all the bells and whistles of the standard version (30 points of articulation, light-up details, four pairs of interchangeable hands, and weapon accessories). But it also includes a holographic Spider-Bot figure with matching armor, a shawarma accessory, and a Stark Industries blueprint. The figure comes packaged in a special edition box.

The mini motorized Spider-Bot goes green for this limited-release edition ($29.99).

D23 Joy on the Screen Pin Collection
The Joy on the Screen Collection of limited-edition pins celebrates the process of bringing Disney characters to life in animated films. It includes a variety of styles.
[Disney Store exclusive] The grandest of the collections is the Animation and Imagineering jumbo pin ($125, limited to 210 pieces.

[Disney Store exclusive] These next pins ($24.99 each, limited to 1000 pieces each) focus on a single character and include a version of their model sheet as a pin base. Available as Sorcerer Mickey, Simba, and Ariel.

[Disney Store exclusive] This three-piece pin set ($125, limited to 200 pieces) recreates an animator’s pegged disc with hinged art of Maleficent, Timothy Q. Mouse, and Cinderella that reveals character sketches underneath.

[Disney Store exclusive] The Snow White Multiplane Camera Slider Pin ($84.99, limited to 250 pieces) honors the revolutionary camera that created a “zooming in and out” effect in animation, adding depth to the drawn backgrounds. Fittingly, the pin is made of three layers that fold together to create a 3D image.

[Disney Store exclusive] We’ve made it to the next stage of the animation process, the completed film, which is represented in the Joy on the Screen collection in the form of these pins ($69.99 each, limited to 300 pieces each): Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast.

[Disney Store exclusive] And now, onto the theater! These ticket stub-inspired pins ($69 each, limited to 300 pieces each) have the date the corresponding films premiered hidden on the tickets with light-up backdrops (the button is on the back). Available in Alice in Wonderland, A Goofy Movie, and Fantasia 2000 designs.

More D23 Event Merchandise
Disney Munchlings were introduced at the 2022 D23 Expo. And for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we see the release of the Disney Munchlings Baked Treats Remix Series. Inside each mystery box ($14.99) is a 4-inch scented plush of either Mickey Mouse Mocha Chocolate Cake (coffee and chocolate scent), Minnie Mouse Cherry Tart (strawberry scent – why not cherry?), Baymax Tiramisu (coffee scent), Daisy Duck Brownie Sundae (chocolate scent), Stitch Frosted Blueberry Loaf (blueberry scent), Marie Strawberry Pound Cake (strawberry scent), or a mystery character.

The mystery box is joined by this Steamed Bun Willie plush ($34.99), part of the Disney Munchlings Specialty Treats Collection. But unlike previous entries in that collection, the one is a bigger 15-inch tall plush. We love the concept of this one!

This cake serving set ($49.99), inspired by Pixar’s “Up,” is part of the D23 Pixar Fanniversary Frenzy Collection.

The World of Disney: The Product Experience
The World of Disney: The Product Experience, located on North Level 200, houses several spaces beyond the D23 Marketplace. Among them are:
- Disney Store, where you can take a selfie in front of a plush mountain or try to win one from a claw machine
- Disney Publishing – look for early releases of must-read titles plus book signings
- Marvel Block Party – an area resembling a street in New York City, except this one is full of merchandise displays and photo spots
- Joffrey’s Coffee – offering a D23-exclusive Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey coffee blend complimentary coffee tastings

- Swarovski – tons of Disney-themed jewelry, accessories, and decor for sale, along with displays of items from the Disney Archives like Cinderella’s slipper from the 2015 film

Other areas include Pixar Putt, Disney Princess: Create Your World featuring LEGO, Star Wars Darkade, and Mickey & Friends.
