Around here, we can’t get enough of the sweet and spooky Halloween season Thankfully, Disney has revealed the frightful fun in store for Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and beyond for 2024. Let’s take a look at the spooktacular times ahead…
UPDATE JUNE 20, 2024: Ticket sales for Oogie Boogie Bash will take place on Disneyland.com on three separate dates. Each day, the queue will open at approximately 8:45am Pacific, and sales will begin no earlier than 9am Pacific. Here are the dates and who they apply to:
- Inspire Magic Key holders (limited amount of tickets available for pre-sale) – June 25, 2024
- All Magic Key holders (limited amount of tickets available for pre-sale) – June 26, 2024
- All guests – June 27, 2024
The “notify me” option used in previous ticket sales will be offered during these sales as well. You can receive an email when it is your time to purchase tickets, rather than stay on the screen, through this option.
Halloween 2024 at Disneyland
Plenty of villains will be lurking around the corners of Disney California Adventure for this year’s Halloween season. Oogie Boogie Bash is back, and for more nights than ever before! Everyone’s invited to wear their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy an evening of immersive treat trails, special character sightings, entertainment, themed merchandise, exclusive food & beverages, and much more!
Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately-ticked after hours event; admission also includes entrance to Disney California Adventure three hours before the party begins and unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the party. Be sure to mark your calendars because Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning on 27 select nights:

Halloween 2024 at Walt Disney World
Mickey’s Not-So Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom, with some new offerings alongside familiar favorites. Mickey & Minnie will don new Halloween costumes during the party, Bruno and Mirabel will be meeting & greeting in the Fantasy Garden, and you can show off your villainy moves at a new dance party, DescenDANCE, inspired by the new Disney+ movie Descendants: The Rise of Red.
Mickey’s Not-So Scary Halloween Party is a separately-ticketed event, taking place on select event nights beginning August 9th through October 31st. No tricks, just treats! Arrive in your favorite Halloween costume, fill your trick-or-treat bag all around the Magic Kingdom, take in the sights and sounds of the beloved Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular at Cinderella Castle stage, Disney’s Not-So Spooky fireworks spectacular high in the sky, and visit with some of your favorite characters dressed for the ominous occasion.
Mickey’s Not-So Scary Halloween Party will be happening at Magic Kingdom for a total of 38 event nights:
- AUGUST 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
- SEPTEMBER 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
- OCTOBER 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
Don’t miss out! MNSSHP tickets go on sale for guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels starting May 8th; tickets will be available to all guests starting May 15th.
Halloween 2024 Merchandise Preview

Here’s a quick look at some of the ghostly goodies you can pick up from the parks and DisneyStore.com later this year. The Mickey pumpkin decoration makes a delightfully frightful return, alongside a new apparel line featuring the ghoulish gang, a new Haunted Mansion-inspired collection, and spooky-summer themed Nightmare Before Christmas Funko items. More will be revealed as we get closer to Halloween!
Halloween on the High Seas 2024
Aboard the Disney Cruise ships, Halloween on the High Seas sailings will set sail on select dates throughout September and October. Mickey and Minnie will be showing off some new batty ensembles, while Donald is dressed to impress in a new spider costume.
Visit the gang in their new looks, have a scarily good time at Mickey’s Mouse-querade, trick or treat, and enjoy frightening foods and drinks!
NEW for the Disney Treasure
Speaking of spooky seas… when Disney’s newest ship launches later this year, the Disney Treasure, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will be the first-ever bar and lounge themed to the iconic attraction. New details were just revealed, including a ghost fish aquarium and mysterious portrait gallery. We can’t wait to experience this next chapter of the Haunted Mansion!

Hong Kong Disneyland
From September 12th to October 31st, experience Hong Kong Disneyland’s Halloween festivities where favorites such as House of De Vil-lains, award-winning show Let’s Get Wicked and Nightmare Before Dinner experience will return.
Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris’ Disney Halloween Festival will be held from October 1st to November 3rd! Celebrate in the spellbinding atmosphere of Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, meet your favorite villains, experience the Phantom Manor, and so much more!
Tokyo Disney Resort
