This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, and Disneyland is celebrating! Anaheim Ducks Days will, once again, return to Disney California Aventure Park, with even more to enjoy in 2024. Come February, guests will be treated to an “expanded” event, featuring “new in-park fan activities.” Keep reading for the full lineup of festivities heading to Hollywood Land next month!
Go Ducks!

Formerly known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, The Walt Disney Company founded the NHL team in 1993. With a name originally inspired by Disney’s cult classic film, The Mighty Ducks (1992), they became the Anaheim Ducks during the 2006-2007 season. Speaking of which, 2007 was a memorable year, with the team securing the first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history. If you’re an ice hockey fan, you can catch the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center, near Disneyland!
When Is Anaheim Ducks Days 2024?
Spanning two days, Anaheim Ducks Days takes place on Thursday, February 22, and Friday, February 23, 2024. Here’s what you can expect at the event!

Ducks Day Cavalcades
On Thursday, February 22, you’ll be able catch sight of some of the players via a celebratory cavalcade traveling from Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Land. The festivities continue on Friday, February 23, with a Legacy Celebration cavalcade featuring select Anaheim Ducks alumni. Keep an eye out for Wild Wing! The Anaheim Ducks mascot will be making special appearances during the event.

Anaheim Ducks Day Photo Op
Make your way to Paradise Gardens Park near the “World of Color” viewing area, for a Stanley Cup photo opportunity. Keep an eye out as this will only be available during a select time on Friday, February 23. Over in Hollywood Land, fans will be able to enjoy a tribute to the team, via a special display showcasing jerseys and memorabilia.

Ducks Day Activities & Entertainment
Head to Hollywood Land and you’ll find a Dedicated Fan Zone filled with music and activities. Disneyland invites you to test your hockey skills, capture photo moments, and embark on a park-wide seek-and-find activity. There are also meet-and-greet opportunities, for which you’ll need a wristband. Head to the wristband distribution queue in Hollywood Land at Park opening to obtain one. (1 meet and greet experience per guest) Be forewarned that space is limited. If art is your forte, you can learn to draw Disney ducks at the Animation Academy! The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. During both evenings this year, guests will be treated to special performances by the Anaheim Ducks DJs and a live band!
Ducks Day Eats and Treats
The majority of Disneyland events come with their own menu items, and this one is no different! Guests can look forward to special foodie finds during Anaheim Ducks Days. For the main attraction, try the Chicken Fried Steak Burrito, available at Studio Catering Co. and Hollywood Lounge. Finish it off with a tempting Chocolate Mousse Cake from Schmoozies for dessert!

Anaheim Ducks Day Merchandise
This year’s merchandise is particularly unique, paying tribute to the team’s 30th anniversary season! Guests can look forward to collectible gear in the form of apparel, headwear, and more.
