With a plethora of performances ranging from parades to nighttime spectaculars, there should be something magical for just about everyone. New and Returning Parades & Spectaculars at Disneyland Park
Let’s look at the parades and spectaculars at Disneyland first. Many of these shows will run for only a short time, so be sure to mark your calendars.
Mickey’s Mix Magic Returns
“Mickey’s Mix Magic” is back from January 8th through March 21 and April 15th through 25th. This high-energy show combines projections, lighting, and lasers with Disney tunes, and on select nights, fireworks add an extra sparkle. While this show isn’t one of our favorites, it is popular with kids and young families.
The Magic Happens Parade
“Magic Happens” makes its return on Feb. 2, featuring moments from Disney and Pixar films. With artistic floats and costumes set to an energetic score, this parade is a vibrant celebration of storytelling. We are so relieved to hear this one is returning.
Wondrous Journeys: A Centennial Celebration
From March 22-April 14, “Wondrous Journeys” pays tribute to The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary. Witness over a century of Disney Animation come to life with dazzling projections and fireworks. While just a short run, we can’t wait to see this one again!
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular
“Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” returns from April 26-Aug. 4 with new scenes and a sky-high celebration of friendship. This heartwarming show is part of the limited-time Pixar Fest celebration. We loved this show in its initial limited-time run and look forward to its return.
Fantasmic! Reimagined
“Fantasmic!” is finally set to return starting May 24. Due to the total destruction of the show’s iconic dragon, new effects and a rechoreographed battle between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent will be introduced, alongside the return of the beloved “Peter Pan” scene.

In addition to Spider-Man’s acrobatic stunts, the Dora Milaje training, the mystical world of Doctor Strange, and the energetic Guardians of the Galaxy’s dance-off, 2024 will see many super hero encounters as DCA continues to bring you new Marvel characters as they are introduced on Disney+ and at theaters.
