We’ve already gobbled down our Thanksgiving feast and explored our favorite retailers for Black Friday deals, so what’s next? Small Business Saturday, of course! Today, we are putting the spotlight on small shops and makers that offer Disney-inspired goods, and some are even offering discounts or promotions. So, without further ado, we present, in no particular order, our highlights for Disney shopping on Small Business Saturday 2023!
Main St. Kari
This shop specializes in cleverly designed, handmade Ear Headbands for all sorts of occasions but also stocks a purse and plush as well. Every piece has a fashionable kawaii (cute) style to it.

Man Eating Wreath Holiday Ears
My favorite of this shop’s creations is this Ear Headband inspired by Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday. One ear is decorated with a Man-Eating Wreath, and the other with a stripey snake (found in the attraction’s attic scene). The piece is accented with a string of teeny-tiny Christmas lights that actually light up!
Few things have more “Disney Parks” flavor than a Mickey Waffle, and few accessories share your love for the iconic Parks breakfast food than this Ear Headband. One ear even has a little pat of butter on it.
Halloween Time may have ended in the Parks, but it can live on forever in your dreams as you snuggle up with this plush of the seasonal Spooky Cone macaron sold in Disney California Adventure’s Cars Land. It looks just like the dessert, right down to the candy corn-stuffed “filling” sticking out between the two “cookies.”
Designer Park Company
When it comes to choosing a day bag to use in the Parks, there is a seemingly endless supply of styles and companies to choose from. We are particularly fond of Designer Park Company’s Rope Drop Backpack, the item they are most known for. The shop has another backpack style as well, the Master Gracey Backpack, and several other park-going necessities. Rope Drop Backpack – The Plaid
This style of the Rope Drop Backpack takes inspiration from the plaid uniforms worn by Disney tour guides. It shares the same array of helpful features as the others but also has the most intricate decor out of the line, which mainly uses an overall print.
Master Gracey Backpack – Olive
The Master Gracey Backpack is similar to the Rope Drop one in that it has the same features but with a larger capacity and subtler color scheme.

Lost Temple Traders
Tiki mugs are the star of this shop run by MiceChat writer David Yeh. Though, you’ll also find pins and Hawaiian-style shirts. A good number of the tiki mugs are Disney-themed, and the ones that aren’t remain worthwhile in their own right.

Yes, this is another Alice in Wonderland-themed item, but I could not help but include this refreshing spin on Alice’s “Drink Me” bottle. The majority of the merchandise sold by this family-run company is made-to-order, with a turnaround time of about 2 to 3 weeks. They also offer a good number of ready-to-ship goods that are just as charming but will arrive at your doorstep much faster, which is a great option if you are in a rush for a gift.

Plaid Gertie Christmas Hydro Pouch with Phone Pouch
This Hydro Pouch is one of Mickey and Mandy’s ready-to-ship items. Its plaid fabric and Santa-capped Gertie patch (inspired by Gertie’s holiday decor in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios) make this one an ideal Christmas present, especially if you are looking for a gift for someone who collects Stanley or other-branded travel mugs.
This neck pillow is another ready-to-ship product and is sure to be a vast upgrade to actually sleeping on the carpet of the Orlando International Airport. Besides the memorable print, other notable details include a flannel-covered underside and a lobster clasp at the back to attach to your luggage.
Many people, myself included, are rather particular when it comes to outfitting their everyday gadgets. As you might expect, Going to Guides sells guidebooks for Disney Parks (you’ll see what makes them stand apart shortly), but they also offer other items inspired by aspects of your favorite attractions and lands, all with appealing and distinctive artwork.

Going to Guides currently makes guidebooks for three parks: Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Magic Kingdom. These titles are updated as new features are added to these Disney Parks. They take a more fanciful approach to park-going, with pages dotted with fun facts, games, and colorful art from a team of artists. And while these books are written to be accessible to kids, adults will certainly enjoy them as well.
If you purchase any of these guidebooks directly from Going to Guides (they are also sold at other retailers), you can have them personally inscribed by the author, Shannon Laskey, and they will come bundled with a bookmark, sticker, and Fan Club card.
Haunted Mansion Glow “Fandana”
Beyond the books, this shop is also known for its “fandanas,” which are bandanas decorated with original art. Each Fandana is themed to a particular attraction or location, and this one is based on the Haunted Mansion. Every inch of the accessory pays homage to some part of the ride or the queue. Adding to its allure is the glow-in-the-dark ink used on the image.
Whether your beverage of choice is a tropical drink or a hot cup of coffee, the Enchanted Tiki Room’s birds won’t judge. Instead, they will sit happily on this set of lovely set of 4 coasters. These would make a perfect stocking stuffer.
Happily Ever After Design Company
This shop has Disney patches for every occasion. If you don’t have something to put a patch on, they also sell those. And if you are a bit uncomfortable affixing a patch yourself, they even offer premade goods with patches already applied!

There is just something special about EPCOT during the holiday season, isn’t there? Share your love for celebrating around the world (World Showcase, that is) with patches of Spaceship Earth with a little Holly accent and Figment in a Christmas jumper. Or for other times of the year, there is also a patch to share that you are a “World Traveler” along with a more traditional Spaceship Earth design. Patches are sold individually.
Disneyland has a plethora of icons that make fabulous patches. From landmarks like Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Pixar Pal-a-Round to memorable signage like the Cozy Cone Motel (my favorite) or the Disneyland marquee, or even just logos such as the iconic Disneyland “D,” you can’t go wrong with this assortment. Like the Christmas EPCOT patches, these are also sold individually.
This fanny pack is a year-round fan favorite. Select your accessory’s size (regular or large) and color (there are 14 to choose from), and then decide if you want a patch of Mickey or Minnie (or both!). And then, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, you have yourself a new fanny pack!

I’ve always had a soft spot for our birdie buddies in Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. These luggage tags not only pay homage to the show’s stars but also because one bird is featured on each tag, it is a helpful way to identify which luggage belongs to whom in a family (note: tags are sold individually).
