Exciting news for fans of Disney and Pixar films… beginning September 18, you can pre-order the Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection, a Blu-Ray set featuring 100 animated films from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Pixar. As part of Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration, a limited number of this collection can be pre-ordered from Walmart.com. These limited-edition sets will come with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The collection will be released in full on November 14.
Disney Legacy Animated Films Collection
This self-standing three-volume set, which unfolds into your own personal storybook, is a work of art in itself. It’s a reminder of Disney’s craftsmanship and storytelling, much like Geppetto’s dedication to carving the perfect puppet in “Pinocchio.”
The collection also comes with a digital download code for every movie (along with the physical Blu-Ray disc) as well as images of original theatrical poster art.
But that’s not all; this collection also includes a collectible lithograph from Disney Animation’s all-new musical comedy “Wish.” It’s a bit of a sneak peek into the future as Disney embarks on its 2nd century.
And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance — a collectible crystal Mickey ears hat that features an exclusive Disney 100 engraving.
From the majesty of “Sleeping Beauty” to the canine capers of “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” this collection spans decades of storytelling. It’s a journey that takes us from the streets of Paris in “The Aristocats” to the Sherwood Forest with “Robin Hood.”
And in the words of the wise old bear, Winnie the Pooh, “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” That sentiment holds true for many of these beloved films, each a tiny spark of Disney magic that has warmed hearts for generations.
