A new show recently premiered across the pond in Disneyland Paris, and it boasts a beloved theme. “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure” kicked off on July 15, 2023. Let’s take a closer look at this whimsical entertainment offering! Let us know if you think it could show up in other Disney parks…
“TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure”
Disney describes this show as an “immersive and innovative experience.” Fans will see some of their favorite franchises, such as Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo come alive on a colorful stage. Fantasy and reality collide, providing a multi-sensory experience that both adults and children can enjoy!
Disneyland Paris advertises this as its “most immersive stage ever.” Guests can look forward to the following highlights via the new production:
- Water Effects
- Creative lighting
- Live Music
- Innovative choreography and theatrics
- Special scents
- Appearances from many beloved Pixar characters
- 4,800 square feet of LED screens stretching from floor to ceiling
- 20 feet tall/roughly 100 feet wide full-sized mobile decorations
- 200 spotlights
Over 100 Cast Members in the form of costume designers, puppeteers, dancers, musicians, prop decorators, and more, worked in tandem with Pixar Animation Studios to bring this imaginative production to life. Audiences will especially enjoy the live music aspect, which honors some of Pixar’s most iconic soundtracks.
Over 30 artists and Pixar characters grace the stage in this poetic production. Disneyland Paris recently gave fans a sneak peek of some familiar faces they can look forward to in the show. Included are:
- From Toy Story – Woody, Bo Peep, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, and the Green Army men
- From Up – Carl and Russell
- From Monsters Inc. – Sulley and Mike Wazowski
- From Finding Nemo – Nemo, Marlin, and Dory
- From Coco – Miguel

Storyline of “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure”
The story follows a child named Charlie, who loves music, and dreams of conducting his school orchestra. Tragedy strikes when Charlie loses the sheet music the day before the concert! As he drifts off to sleep, Toy Story characters come to his rescue! Working together, they search through different Pixar stories, to find the missing scores.
Important Details
“TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure” is approximately 30 minutes long and can be viewed at Studio Theater in Production Courtyard at Walt Disney Studios Park. After its recent opening on July 15th, the show will continue until November 6, 2023, when it will take a scheduled break. The production will return in December of 2023.
Guests can access the program via a valid ticket for Walt Disney Studios Park. Five performances are scheduled per day unless the show is canceled. Guests are encouraged to check the mobile app for updated show times. Currently, Disneyland Paris also offers a Broadway-style show entitled “Mickey and the Magician” (Walt Disney Studios Park) and “The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands” (Disneyland Park).
Pixar at the Disneyland Resort in California
Although this show is exclusive to Disneyland Paris, there is plenty to entertain Pixar fans at the Disneyland Resort. In June, Disney Parks celebrated the Wonder of Pixar for its 100th Anniversary. The festivities included a new pre-show, debuting on June 2, 2023. Guests can still catch the “Elemental Connection” short, which precedes World of Color – ONE, for a limited time.
In addition, visitors can get their Pixar fix at Pixar Pier, where there’s no shortage of fan-favorite characters around every corner. To top it off Pixar Place Hotel is in the works! Head over to the location formerly known as Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel to check out its progress.
