June 26 is the day we pay homage to everyone’s favorite blue alien, Stitch (originally named Experiment 626). The comically mischievous critter has always been a popular subject for merchandise, and even more so now with the arrival of 626 Day 2023. Join me on a Hawaiian roller coaster ride through new Stitch goodies at Disney Parks, on shopDisney, and beyond!
Disney Parks and shopDisney Merchandise
We spotted tons of recently-released Stitch items at the Disneyland Resort. And since many of them are also sold on shopDisney, I have included links to the applicable items.
The 80s-inspired Surfer Stitch shirts come in adult ($32.99) and kid’s sizes ($22.99). Kids can pair it with a matching trucker-style baseball cap ($24.99) and a pullover hoodie ($39.99).
The vibrantly-colored button-up shirt is in the same style as the apparel from the previous photo. It is joined by a pink girl’s fashion T-shirt ($22.99) and another trucker-style baseball cap, this time in green.
And here’s an up-close look at the Ear Headband ($34.99) and Stitch plush created for this year’s 626 Day.

Apparel and Accessories
Lilo & Stitch Experiment 626 Beach Hype Jersey ($38.90)
This BoxLunch-exclusive Hype Jersey includes both Stitch and his human buddy Lilo (plus her dolly, Scrump) on the front. Along the shoulders on the backside are cartoony letters spelling out “Experiment 626,” surrounded by colorful stars. This garment is currently available in sizes S through 2X.
Stitch Sandcastle Beach Suprise Loungefly Mini Backpack ($80)
This endearing Loungefly mini backpack depicts our Stitch terrorizing a perfectly-constructed sandcastle. Adding to its charm are several interactive design elements. Stitch is on a slider mechanism that allows him to be pulled up further to reveal more of his cute lil’ body (and pushed back down, of course). And the sandcastle’s drawbridge opens and closes to reveal Lilo’s handmade doll Scrump sitting beyond its gates. Waves crash against the shore on the sides of the backpack, completing the scene. And hidden on the bag’s back, Stitch enjoys a tropical beverage while Scrump relaxes in the shade of a palm tree.

Funko Pop! VHS Cover: Lilo & Stitch ($40)
This Funko Pop! figure of Stitch surfboarding is part of their VHS Cover series and is available exclusively through Amazon. And while the figure itself measures 4.72-inches tall, it also comes pre-packaged in a larger protective case (6.8-inches wide, 8.5-inches tall, and 3.17-inches deep) with the cover art used on the original VHS release for the film.
Disney Street Beach Stitch Head Plush ($12.99)
Another Amazon-exclusive item, this plush pillow from Just Play is shaped like Stitch’s head, complete with floppy ears. He is also decked out in sunglasses with lenses that have a shiny quality to them. Use it as a cuddle buddy or for home decorating – the choice is yours!
