Welcome to MiceShots, where enchanting Disneyland photos await at every corner. Among the many attractions in the park, one stands out for its whimsical charm — Alice in Wonderland. Today, we invite you to join us on a photographic journey through this classic Fantasyland experience that has captivated guests since 1958. As the Cheshire Cat famously said, “We’re all mad here,” and this sentiment perfectly captures the essence of our adventure. So, let’s step into our caterpillar ride vehicles and embark on a journey into Wonderland!
Alice In Wonderland:
While the attraction is currently undergoing refurbishment, it will reopen its doors on June 15th, beckoning visitors once again to “curiouser and curiouser” realms. Although we can’t experience the magic firsthand today, we can still immerse ourselves in the joyous memories through a collection of captivating photos. So, are you ready to take a leap down the rabbit hole? Let’s follow the White Rabbit and begin our exploration of this timeless wonderland!

My adventures in Wonderland began when I followed the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole. All of a sudden I fell! Down, Down, Down…

Mr. Rabbit! Wait! Please!

I’m late! I’m late for a very important date! No time to say “Hello,” goodbye! I’m late! I’m late! I’m late! I’m late!

Who are you!?

I’m not sure where I am either.

Oh, by the way, he went this way.

We’re painting the roses red, And many a tear we shed Because we know they’ll cease to grow. In fact, they’ll soon be dead And yet we go ahead with painting the roses red. We planted the white roses by mistake!

Shall we play croquet?
Rule 42! The Queen always wins!

OFF WITH HER HEAD!

A very merry unbirthday to you!

While Alice in Wonderland is undeniably one of the most popular attractions in Fantasyland, it is certainly worth the wait. On occasion, you might even be fortunate enough to witness a parade passing by as you descend the vine, having escaped the clutches of the Queen of Hearts. This is an absolute must-visit attraction. I eagerly anticipate its reopening in the near future. You can watch a ride through of the attraction below:
Reader Submissions:
Occasionally, we enjoy reaching out to our readers on the MiceChat Facebook Group and inviting them to share their cherished photos of a particular subject to include in a MiceShots article. This week, we asked the group for shots of Alice in Wonderland and were delighted to receive some great photos.
One of our MiceChat contributors, David Yeh, shared some photos of the attraction before it was updated with digital projections in 2014. While not everything in the attraction was changed, you’ll notice some significant differences.

Let’s Hear From You
Thank you for joining us on this journey through Wonderland. As we traversed the scenes of this charming ride, we were reminded of the whimsical wisdom found within Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale:
- “Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.” – Cheshire Cat
- “It’s no use going back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” – Alice
- “Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” – White Queen
