Taking over Knott’s Berry Farm for almost an entire month (January 27th-February 25th), Peanuts Celebration fills the park with music, entertainment, and activities for the whole family! Even with most of Camp Snoopy under construction until the summer, there’s still plenty to see and do during the first “Season of Fun” at Knott’s Berry Farm. We’re happy to see some returning favorites like the marvelous Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert and a lovely exhibit on one of Peanuts’ most important characters, Franklin.
Let’s have a look at everything you need to know about Knott’s Berry Farm Peanuts Celebration 2024:
New For Peanuts Celebration 2024
Franklin Exhibit
Taking over Calico Town Hall is Charlie Brown’s buddy Franklin with his very own exhibit. The Charles M. Schultz Museum and Research Center exhibit covers Franklin’s 1968 origins and subsequent importance to history and pop culture. It’s also where you can snap a photo with Franklin himself!
The exhibit has a cute comic table where guests can trace Peanuts characters (in different poses) all over the light-up table to create their own Peanuts strip!
Scattered around Town Hall are strips and stories about Franklin, while the TV plays a documentary.
Much of the content revolves around Franklin’s history in the African-American community— great timing since Peanuts Celebration runs through most of Black History Month! Hopefully, the exhibit will stick around through at least the end of the month.
Peanuts Celebration 2024 Entertainment
Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert
Snoopy and the Jelly of the Month Club reunite once again to put on their most epic rock concert yet! Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert features Snoopy and Woodstock “cameos” as many of the greatest rock stars ever while the rest of the Peanuts gang keeps the show running as the stage techs. It’s a musical greatest hits bonanza with a breakneck pace that’ll rock your socks off!
Good ‘ol Charlie Brown also receives rockstar lessons from Jelly of the Month, which coincidentally makes sense since they have a real-life music academy for kids!
The cameos are the best part and conveniently move the show along so fast that we wonder how they can do the costume changes that quickly!
While the kids laugh at Snoopy, Spike, and Woodstock in funny costumes, it’s a great opportunity for the parents to introduce the kids to classic rock and roll music!
Still one of the best-produced shows at Knott’s, Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert is family entertainment at its finest! Definitely make a trip down to the farm on Saturdays and Sundays through the end of Peanuts Celebration to see this rocking good show!
It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown
While Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert takes over the Calico Mine Stage at night, It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown celebrates everyone’s favorite blockhead during the day. This TV-Land-style presentation is a celebration of everything we love about Charlie Brown.
Themed like a mid-century television show, It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown features plenty of musical numbers and feel-good moments with Charlie Brown and his friends.
It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown performs twice daily on Saturdays and Sundays.
“Peanuts on the Go” Cavalcade
In between all the shows during the day, “Peanuts on the Go” drives by the Charleston Circle Fountain (in style) with Peanuts characters in tow.
Each character steps out of their fancy car to dance with guests in their charming 1920s outfits.
James Street Trio
Over at the Boardwalk BBQ, join the jazzy James Street Trio as they perform music by Vince Guaraldi, the composer for classic Peanuts Specials.

Peanuts Celebration Food
Peanuts Celebration treats have come to be known as dishes that a kid would make. So, it seems that Charlie Brown likes mac and cheese on a giant ground beef burrito. In fact, mac and cheese seems to be the theme this year— an interesting choice for versatility. However, some dishes are intended to look like classic kid’s dishes (rather than tasting like them), including the cheesecake that looks like a big Babybel and the funnel cake with what looks like mac and cheese but is cheesecake batter and gummies (as opposed to the funnel cake with actual mac and cheese on top!)
Knott’s is even offering a $45 tasting card for all its mac and cheese options this year with the title “It’s the Great Mac and Cheese, Charlie Brown!” It even comes with a character straw.
As for the full menu, most of it is indeed mac and cheese, but there are still a few other unique dishes. I had the opportunity to try two, starting with Schroeder’s Fluffy Breakfast Mac and Cheese Pancake served with a side of Bacon and Maple Syrup.
You’d think this is simply mac and cheese on top of pancakes, but the macaroni is actually cooked into the pancakes too. Fortunately, this is the same perfectly good mac and cheese served elsewhere in the park— except on top of pancakes. I don’t recommend putting the maple syrup on top of the mac and cheese, but it does pair well with the macaroni pancakes and the surprisingly good side of bacon.
The Cinnamon Sugar Churro stuffed with Jelly topped with a Peanut Butter Drizzle and Bacon Bits (these names are getting outrageous) is something I expect to be a love or hate item. The same delicious, freshly made churro is there but it’s filled with jelly and covered in peanut butter and bacon. I’ll admit peanut butter, bacon, and jelly go surprisingly well together, but the bacon might push it over the edge for some.
