Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World has some wild entertainment this time of year. From friendly critters to enchanting displays, this park has more to offer than most people think when it comes to Christmas fun! Here’s a look at the holiday offerings around Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The Merry Menagerie
Several times throughout the day, the Merry Menagerie come out to play in front of the Tree of Life. These holiday-themed animal puppets interact with guests while a musician plays Christmas carols, weaving their way through the crowd. It’s an incredible experience you won’t want to miss this holiday season!

These sensational puppets are so popular that merchandise is available in all of the stores around the Tree of Life. The handheld puppets are soft and have beautiful, intricate details, just like the life-sized ones!

DinoLand U.S.A. Holiday Overlay
Even though Walt Disney World is slowly starting to say goodbye to DinoLand U.S.A., they didn’t leave this magical land out of their holiday celebration. You can meet Donald and friends at Donald’s Dino-Bash! while taking in the incredible lights and decorations they’ve put up for Christmas.

The Tree of Life’s Holiday Awakenings
One of the most beautiful displays this holiday season can be found once darkness settles upon Disney’s Animal Kingdom. After the sun goes down, the Tree of Life bursts into color and song, illuminating the park with stories of sweet creatures frolicking through the snow. The holiday edition of Tree of Life Awakenings happens about every 10 minutes, and there are many different stories you can watch. Make sure to catch this magical moment before the Christmas season ends on January 9, 2023!
