A sea-faring good time can be had at the Pirates Dinner Adventure (located in Orlando, Florida) on just about any day. But for the holidays, there’s a little something special in store; my son Johnny (whose holiday mission is to meet every Santa Claus possible) and I had the pleasure of checking it out! Of course, this isn’t just any Pirate Adventure Dinner, but a special holiday edition complete with a visit from special guests direct from the North Pole. Johnny’s excited about his Pirate Adventure, let’s get started in Pirates Town.
Pirates Town
In Pirates Town, you will find everything you need for your little one to become a pirate. You can even mine for some booty.
Swagger up to one of the bars for libations with the option of a souvenir glass.
Pirate Dinner
The galley cooks a fine meal with the option of Pasta, Chicken or Pork, and Mac and Cheese with Chicken Nuggets for the kids. A salad and a brownie for dessert are also included. If you wish, you can add appetizers as well for an added fee.
Pirate Dinner Adventure Show
Pirates Dinner Adventure is family-friendly with excitement, action, acrobatics, and romance. It’s a story of a princess and a mermaid taken prisoner by pirates and the chaos that ensues due to the cursed necklace of the princess.
The Pirates take part in a series of games to see who is worthy of being the First Mate. This interactive segment even includes some boat races with a few young Buccaneers. Johnny was thrilled to get to show off his paddling skills.
In the end, good triumphs over the evil pirates, but not before all the young Buccaneers are brought aboard and everyone takes the Pirate Oath.
The holiday show includes Christmas music and a visit from the Jolly Old Elf himself at the end of the show.
Stay for the post-show Buccaneer Bash and party with the pirates and see Santa himself! For an extra charge, you can meet and get photos with Santa, the Pirates, and the Mermaid.
The venue also hosts “Teatro Martini,” which is a special show for couples and adults who don’t want to miss out on the holiday fun as well.
