Shop Till You Drop – It’s All About the Ducktales x Champion

It seems to be all ducks all the time lately in the world of Disney merchandise. First, there was the Disney Ducks Collection on shopDisney, and now Champion Athleticwear has collaborated with Disney for a Ducktales-themed collection of apparel. With various clothing types, there is sure to be something for fans of the 80s-era classic cartoon. Mix and match pieces from the Champion x Ducktales collection for that nostalgic look.

Champion x Ducktales Sweatshirts

Most sweatshirts are of the hoodie variety, but there is also a lone crewneck, all of which are made from French Terry fabric. The hoodies have a kangaroo pocket that hides a secret zippered pocket on its left side and a hood that is adjusted with a matching drawstring.

White French Terry Hoodie – Scrooge McDuck ($100)

Scrooge McDuck appears to take a dive into the hoodie’s kangaroo pocket rather than his beloved money bin. But that isn’t stopping coins and bills from falling around the lucky fellow. Additionally, “$PLA$H” is embroidered on the hood.

Black French Terry Hoodie – Ducks with Bucks ($100)

Scrooge looks slightly menacing as he counts his riches on the hoodie’s front. However, Huey, Dewie, and Louie appear to be enjoying themselves with their own bundle of cash on the back (Louie looks slightly concerned, actually). On the hood are an embroidered Ducktales logo and a bill with a coin.

Black French Terry Hoodie – Repeating Ducks ($100)

This hoodie has all its ducks in a (repititious) row, running from one arm then across the back, and then along the length of the other arm. Huey, Dewie, and Louie’s heads also appear on a corner of the kangaroo pocket.

Yellow French Terry Hoodie – Duck Quotes ($100)

Huey, Dewie, and Louie appear on the kangaroo pocket of this hoodie, asking “Unca Scrooge” for an increase in their allowance. The elder duck must be avoiding them because he is cleverly hidden inside the hood.

White French Terry Crewneck – Money Stacks ($90)

Thanks to this crewneck, we know how much money Scrooge has accumulated. Or at least, that was how he had until the Beagle Boys paid him a visit. You’ll find a trio of thieves making their post-robbery getaway on the backside.

Champion x Ducktales Tees

There are only two T-shirt options, the smallest amount of any clothing type in this collection. But what they lack in numbers, they make up for in retro style. The T-shirts in this collection are made of a heavyweight cotton material that can be used for layering or as a standalone shirt. They feature double-stitching along the seams of the collar, hem, and sleeves for extra support during tough workouts. Both have an appliqué image on the front with screen-printed art on the back.

White Cotton Tee – Embroidered Dollar Sign ($40)

As the name suggests, this shirt has a golden dollar sign on the front. The back is decorated with Scrooge McDuck showing off all the money he has hidden in his jacket.

Grey Cotton Tee – Embroidered Coin ($40)

The grey shirt in the Champion x Ducktales Collection has a gold coin on the front. Magicka DeSpell faces off against Scrooge and Donald in the art used on the back.

And finally, we have pants, the perfect option to cover your tail feathers. These styles are made from french terry fabric and include an elastic waist (with matching drawstring), a functional fly, and zipper openings on the pant legs. Plus, tons of pockets! The front pockets have a hidden zippered compartment on the left side. And on the back, the left pocket secures with snap closure, while the right uses zippered closure.

White French Terry Pants – Embroidered Dollars ($90)

These pants might work best when paired with the hoodie featuring Scrooge diving into money. Dollar bills flutter down the right leg with dollar signs hovering above. And on the back of the left leg, additional money bills joined by some coins collect near the ankle.

Black French Terry Pants – Money Bags ($90)

One of those rascally Beagle Boys makes another appearance as an embroidered appliqué on the left leg of this pair of pants. The Ducktales logo appears near the front pocket on the right leg. There are no additional details on the backside.

Black French Terry Pants – Repeating Ducks ($90)

In this style, Huey, Dewie, and Louie run down the left leg in a repeating pattern (hence the name “Repeating Ducks”), topped off with the Ducktales logo. The precocious brothers’ names are embroidered along one of the legs on the backside.
