Changes are on the horizon for Walt Disney World’s tickets and annual passes. Starting December 8, both 1-Day 1-Park tickets, Park Hopper add-ons, and some tiers of Annual Passes will see a price increase. The biggest shift is seen in the 1-Day tickets, whose prices now depend on which theme park you are planning to visit. Let’s look at what guests will soon need to pay to visit the theme parks of Walt Disney World.

Parks-Specific Ticket Prices and Other Changes at Walt Disney World

Big changes are on the way to Walt Disney World’s ticketing system. Most interestingly, each park will have its own range of daily ticket prices.

New Booking Process for 1-Day 1-Park Tickets

On December 8th and beyond, when you attempt to book a 1-Day 1-Park ticket at Walt Disney World for a specific date, you will be asked to select your desired park. A theme park reservation will then automatically be created for the ticket. However, this new process is specifically for those booking a 1-Day 1-Park ticket, and most guests will continue to book reservations as they had in the past.

New Parks-Specific Ticket Prices

Each theme park will have a different price range based on each destination’s demand. Animal Kingdom is the lowest-priced park with Magic Kingdom rightfully the more expensive park.

Here are the price ranges for each theme park at Walt Disney World:

  • Animal Kingdom: $109 – $159 (this has the same price range as the current tickets)
  • Disney Hollywood Studios: $124 – $179
  • EPCOT: $114 – $179
  • Magic Kingdom: $124 – $189 (the $189 price will only take effect during the week of Christmas to New Year’s)

Park Hopper Add-Ons

Price changes will also hit Park Hopper ticket add-ons starting December 8. Specific pricing is currently unknown.

Changes to Walt Disney World Annual Pass Prices

Expect to pay more for annual passes starting December 8, as well. The IncrediPass, Sorcerer Pass, and Pirate Pass will all see a price increase between $43 to $100. The Pixie Dust Pass’s price will stay the same. It should be noted that while the Pixie Dust Pass is currently accepting new sales, all other tiers are not accepting new members and are only available for renewal.
