7th SeaWorld Orlando Coaster Set for 2023 – Pipeline!

SeaWorld Orlando, the coaster capital of Orlando, has a 7th coaster coming to the park next year. Promising to bring riders a unique, surf-like experience, Pipeline: The Surf Coaster is expected to open in spring 2023.  Let’s take a look at how Pipeline will make waves… 

Pipeline: The Surf Coaster 

The Pipeline: The Surf Coaster moves you with the waves as you surf along the track while you hang ten at speeds up to 60 MPH and surf 110 feet in the air while experiencing airtime 5 different times giving you the feeling of catching waves.

The innovative design allows you to be secured in a surfing stance as you launch into the waves at top speeds while your seat rises and falls with the surf. The surfboard-shaped ride vehicle will have you feeling as if you are really catching the waves.

The Pipeline: The Surf Coaster is expected to have a 54” height requirement with a ride time of 1 minute and 50 seconds.

Construction and Ride Opening

Pipeline: The Surf Coaster will be located right at the front of the park where you will be able to see it as you enter.

The opening date for the coaster is scheduled for 2023. Annual Pass Members will get to ride first through the “Passport to Thrills” program by scanning into the Pass Member lounge three times by December 31, 2022. They will then receive a one-time free Quick Queue to use from ride opening through December 31, 2023. Pass Members will also have the opportunity for monthly giveaways starting in November tied to Pipeline.
