The Disney Wish has set sail on its christening cruise and there is so much to explore: food, staterooms, entertainment, and of course, merchandise! In this guide, we take a look at the new merchandise and unique items cruisers will find in the numerous shops onboard.
Disney Wish Shops
As you might expect from the largest ship in the fleet, the Disney Wish also has the largest number of shopping locations. The Wish boasts seven different shops compared to the three on the Disney Magic & Wonder or four on the Disney Fantasy & Dream.
There are over 175 exclusive items on the Disney Wish. The main stores which sell Disney (and Disney Wish) branded merchandise are Mickey’s Mainsail on Deck 5, Treasures Untold on Deck 3, and Dory’s Forget Me Knots on deck 11. Additional luxury stores offer non-Disney branded watches, high-end clothing, and accessories.
Let’s take a look at the merchandise in each store aboard the beautiful Disney Wish.
Mickey’s Mainsail Shop – Deck 5
Returning Disney cruisers will be familiar with the name “Mickey’s Mainsail,” which returns to the Wish in a new location on deck 5. The shop is filled with DCL-themed souvenirs and gifts. As you might expect, the store will carry Disney Wish exclusives such as a special-edition Spirit Jersey, Loungefly mini backpack, and ear headbands.
Let’s start off with the Inaugural Sailings merchandise. Much of these items are apparel, including some made for kids.
These are also smaller souvenirs like keychains, magnets, and of course, extra-special trading pins.
Other Inaugural Sailings goodies include a snow globe, mug, a very fancy tote bag, and Mickey and Minnie plushes decked out in nautical gear.
Included in this collection of items created for the inaugural sailings are several pieces that benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, such as a trading pin, a sparkly Spirit Jersey, a Tervis Steel Tumbler, Mickey and Minnie plushes (in outfits slightly different than the other plushes seen above), and an Ear Headband.
Aside from these limited-time offerings, there is also more traditional Disney fare to purchase (not all of which is exclusive to the Wish). Among them is merchandise inspired by dining aboard the Wish to characters you’ll see aboard.
The merchandise for Worlds of Marvel mingles with other items (most notably the Spider-Bots) also sold at Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus.
Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge also has a couple of themed shirts.
And poor Arendelle has only one shirt design to its name.
Other merchandise explores the Wish’s creation process.
This plaque includes a piece of steel used to build the Wish.
And there are also photos that document the ship’s journey to her home in Port Caniveral.
And there is plenty of merchandise with a cavalcade of characters to choose from.
Guests will likely be drawn to the Loungefly Mini Backpack and Spirit Jersey featuring artwork of Mickey and his pals, created especially for the Disney Wish.
Similar art is also found on a variety of magnets, apparel, an ornament, and several trading pins.
If you are enamored with the Cinderella statue in the ship’s Grand Hall, you can take home a miniature version.
Other experiences available on the Disney Wish also get their turn in the merchandise spotlight. Guests can wait well over an hour to ride the AquaMouse water coaster on the top deck, but it just takes a moment to snag the t-shirt…
Even the Wish herself inspired her share of merchandise.
This Ear Headband has a soft version of the cruise ship atop the band instead of a bow.
A Wish ornament has acquired porthole ears. Clever.
As with all things Disney, you’ll find lots of pins, pins, pins…
This Loungefly Wish exclusive Loungefly Mini Backpack is going to be very popular with rhinestone studs and wish-blue tufting. It is joined by a matching Ear Headband, also made by Loungefly.
While there may be as many as 180 exclusive items on the ship, much of the merchandise is available fleet-wide (or will be soon).
This ship play set debuted on the Wish but will be available fleet-wide. The smokestack plays the ship’s horn, the elevator moves up and down, and the chandelier lights up!
Costumes perfect for Pirate night dress-up.
Treasures Untold – Deck 3
The go-to destination for signature collectibles; including Disney’s largest selection of Pandora Jewelry ever, plus limited-time Artist Spotlight collections and guest-favorite Dooney & Bourke handbags.
Like Mickey’s Mainsail, Treasures Untold also stocks merchandise created for the Inaugural Sailings.
The print on these Dooney & Bourke bags is decorated with Mickey, Minnie, and the Disney Wish logo while the engraved leather hangtag reads “Inaugural” and “Disney Wish.”
While not unique to the Inaugural Sailings, this Cinderella collection, with art by Ashley Taylor, was created for the Wish, inspired by the princess’s statue in the ship’s Grand Hall.
Beyond these exclusive items, the store also stocks high-end merchandise lines previously sold at Disney Parks and on shopDisney.
This is the Little Mermaid Collection by Vera Bradley.
Dooney & Bourke’s Peter Pan Collection is also available.
As is the Disney Coach Collection, created to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
If you are a collector of Pandora charms this is certain to please you. There are several Disney Cruise Line-themed Pandora charms, including one made for the Inaugural Sailings.
And if you were hoping to score some of the Pandora charms sold at the Disney Parks but couldn’t squeeze in a visit to Walt Disney World during your vacation, you’re in luck because there are a number of Parks-exclusive charms available for purchase as well.
Alex and Ani also created one of their beloved bangle bracelets just for the Disney Wish.
Dory’s Forget-Me-Knots – Deck 11
Dory’s store is located on the upper decks and features swimwear, water-play gear, and graphic tees inspired by favorite Disney stories. There is a large variety of graphic tee options to choose from in this store, so much so that many of the options are displayed on the wall for easier viewing.
This ringer tee has a patch of Mickey’s gloved hand holding a swirled ice cream cone, one of the many desserts available onboard.
The print on this windbreaker incorporates many aspects of the Disney Cruise experience from towel animals and stateroom doors to ice cream and Mickey-shaped pools.
This sundress is from a merchandise collection also found at Mickey’s Mainsail.
Hats are a necessity for sunny weather on the upper decks and Dory’s Forget-Me-Knots has a number of fun options.
There are also plenty of tumblers to choose from, some are specific to the Disney Wish while others are more a general Disney Cruise Line style.
Other pool-time supplies include themed towels (some themed to the Wish), beach bags, kid’s swimsuits, and coverups, as well as a set of zippered pouches.
There are also some random fun finds like a cruise ship-shaped water toy, a beach chair cell phone holder (which we think would work great as a prop for Disney’s nuiMOs plushes), and a nautical photo frame.
Mingling among the Disney merchandise is a merchandise display of Havianas sandals.
In addition to the stores above, the Disney Wish features an elegant retail district on deck 3, which runs between the Grand Hall and the Walt Disney Theatre. These 3rd party shops offer mostly non-Disney luxury jewelry, watches, and accessories. You won’t find much Disney in the stores below, but you might find something to help make sure you don’t miss your spa appointment.
Enchanted Castle Jewels – Deck 3
