Disney Mirrorverse: Your Favorite Disney Characters Become Fighters

Be prepared to see your favorite Disney heroes and villains in a whole new light in the upcoming smartphone game, Disney Mirrorverse. Players will view beloved Disney characters as different versions of themselves if they lived in a combat-oriented world. But before we dive into the details, let’s take a look at the trailer:

Game Features

Players will venture to a divergent universe, where heroes and villains of Disney and Pixar films team up to take on a new threat called the Fractured, who threaten to destroy multiple realities. Expect to see favorites like Rapunzel, Baymax, Judy Hopps, and Maleficent, reimagined as Guardians (as they are called in the game), each with special battle abilities in order to fight against the Fractured.

Disney Mirrorverse is an Action Role-Playing Game that features real-time combat. Don’t expect enemies to wait for you to ponder your next move (à la Dragon Quest or other turn-based games); enemies can and will attack you at any time, all while moving around the game environment (it’s similar to another popular Disney game, Kingdom Hearts). You have control of individual actions as well as team strategy and special attacks. Or if you would prefer, you can also set the game to “Autoplay” and watch the battle take place without needing to intervene.

Game modes and features include:

• Story Mode consists of Story Quests, which are main quests where you progress the main plotline or side stories that enhance the plot or flesh out additional characters. These will be updated every few months.
• Limited-time Event Quests that will offer unique perks, like characters, awards, and progression items. These quests will coincide with real-life events and content related to Disney and Pixar characters. After a certain amount of time, each Event Quest will no longer be available so be sure to participate when they pop up.
• Join with fellow players to form an Alliance and take on Alliance Missions. Alliances work together to earn rank-based rewards and compete against other Alliances.
• The Tower of Troubles challenges players to fight progressively harder enemies with a themed team (whether the characters are preselected or simply must meet a certain requirement to be in your party is unknown). Success in battle grants you progression items.
• Players will compete with other players and even other Alliances from all over the world in Dangerous Dungeons. The setting will continuously change so keep on your toes. Rewards include progression items and other awards unique to the mode.

Disney Mirrorverse will be available worldwide on the App Store and Google Play on June 23. If you preregister for the game on the official site, you will be rewarded with a special in-game avatar. There is also a campaign right now with the goal of gaining one million preregistrations. There are several milestones (100 thousand, 250 thousand, and so on) that unlock additional in-game rewards for all players once the game launches. The first milestone of 50 thousand has already been reached.

McFarlane Toys has been making figures for Disney Mirrorverse since 2021. The first wave (seen below) is now in stores with a second wave available for preorder. Art Book

Dark Horse is publishing an art book based on the game titled “The World of Disney Mirrorverse.” This hardcover tome will be 264 pages long, stuffed with artwork of characters and environments, plus a look at the game’s lore. The book is scheduled to be published on August 31 and is available for preorder now, priced at $49.99.
