There’s a lot to see on Disney+ in March. A top pick will be Pixar’s latest straight-to-streaming release, Turning Red, which was originally scheduled for a theatrical release. Steven Spielberg’s reimagining of the iconic Broadway musical West Side Story will also make its way to the streamer, as well as the premiere of the new movie Cheaper By The Dozen. Also returning are new episodes of the rebooted The Proud Family.

The six episode miniseries Marvel’s Moon Knight premieres on March 30. Oscar Isaac stars in the action/adventure saga as Marc Spector/Moon Knight, a mercenary who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, with Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy also starring.

    • Mickey Mouse Funhouse (S1, 4 episodes) – To help them find out if dragons are good or bad, Funny takes Mickey, Minnie, and their friends to the Kingdom of Majestica, where they are transformed into knights, knaves, and princesses.
    • West Side Story – The reimagining of the classic Broadway musical, the 2021 adaptation of star crossed lovers from opposite sides of the tracks captured seven Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Cinematography, and Best Directing for 2021.
    • The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder – Episode 3 – It All Started with an Orange Basketball – An overzealous Oscar bets big that his AAU basketball team can beat Wizard Kelly’s. He forces Penny onto his team but her heart isn’t in it because she’d rather spend time with her crush
    • Secrets Of The Zoo: Tampa (S3) – Secrets of The Zoo goes behind-the-scenes at The Columbus Zoo, with over 2,000 employees, 10,000 animals, and 6,000 veterinary cases each year.

March 4

    • Russia’s Wild Tiger – A look at the battle for survival of the big cats and revealing intimate details of their lives. 
    • Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days – Everybody’s favorite wimp, Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon), is back for three times the fun in the latest film based on the super-popular book series!

March 9

    • Weekend Family (S1) – “Weekend Family” is a French jubilant comedy that chronicles the life of a new stepfamily that meet up every weekend. But when the father gets into a relationship with a new partner, the weekends take on a whole new turn.
    • The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder (Episode 4) “Father Figures” – When Penny discovers who Maya and KG’s parents are, she becomes the lone voice of tolerance in her community, butting heads with her father Oscar’s prejudices.

March 11

    • Turning Red – Disney and Pixar’s newest animated feature introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident 13-year-old torn between being a mother’s dutiful daughter and the challenges of adolescence. The animated fantasy is directed by Academy Award® winner Domee Shi (who directed the Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins.
    • Embrace the Panda: Making Turning Red – The feature documentary about the all-women team at the helm of Pixar’s original feature, “Turning Red.” Go behind-the-scenes with Director Domee Shi and her core leadership crew during the making of the animated fantasy film.

    • Big City Greens (S3, 5 episodes) – Cricket Green is a mischievous but optimistic country boy who moves to the big city along with his family.
    • Miraculous Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir (S4, 6 episodes) – Teenager Marinette changes into Ladybug, her superhero persona, while her classmate and crush Adrien transforms into Cat Noir, his secret superhero persona, to shield Paris from evil.
    • Muppet Babies (S3, 2 episodes) – Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal and their other friends explore their vast imagination to go on amazing adventures inside their nursery.
    • Spidey And His Amazing Friends (S1, 5 episodes) – Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy join forces with Hulk, Ms Marvel and Black Panther to fight their common enemies and learn that working together as a team is the best.
    • The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder (Episode 5) “Snackland” – Oscar opens a slap-dash theme park that, despite it’s poorly designed and extremely dangerous rides, becomes an overnight success. Penny struggles with her changing singing voice.

March 18

    • Step – The senior year of a girls’ high school step team in inner-city Baltimore try to become the first in their families to attend college. The girls strive to make their dancing a success against the backdrop of social unrest.
    • Cheaper By The Dozen – The Disney+ Original movie is a new iteration on the 2003 hit family comedy starring Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff. 
    • More Than Robots – Four teams of teenagers from around the world prepare for the 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition. Get to know teams from Los Angeles, Mexico City and Chiba, Japan as they work towards the goal of taking their unique designs all the way to the highly competitive global championships. 

March 23

    • Doc McStuffins (Shorts) (S1) – Dottie McStuffins puts on her stethoscope and starts fixing toys and dolls, as she wants to become a doctor like her mother.
    • The Doc Files (S1) – Doc McStuffins provides a look at cases and diagnoses after the clinic doors close for the day.
    • Parallels – The lives of four teenage friends are turned upside down when a mysterious event scatters the group across time and into separate universes. With two friends in the present day, and the other two in a completely separate timeline, they race to find each other, hoping to unravel the mystery of the event and return home before forever alerting their futures.
    • The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder (Episode 6) “Get In” – After her parents forget to pick her up, Penny starts a rideshare company aimed at kids whose parents are too busy to drive them.

March 25

    • Oliva Rodrigo: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film) – Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo takes a familiar road trip from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles, where she began writing her debut album “SOUR.” Along the way, Rodrigo recounts the memories of writing and creating her record-breaking debut album and shares her feelings as a young woman navigating a specific time in her life. 
    • The Wonderful Spring of Mickey Mouse – Mickey Mouse and his friends explore the promise of the spring season through the lens of a unique nature documentary

March 30

    • Cavalieri Di Castelcorvo – The small town of Castelcorvo is not as rested as it seems and just a bunch of brave knight can keep it safe. Four kids – Giulia, Riccardo, Betta and Matteo – will have to solve mysterious enigmas and face their greatest fears.
    • Marvel’s Moon Knight – Episode 1 – The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. The action adventure series stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy. 

WHAT’S ON HULU MARCH 2022

March will be a big month for Disney’s other streaming platform. This includes the arrival of new Hulu original shows including The Dropout, the true-crime miniseries The Girl From Plainville, and the comedy-drama Life & Beth.

Old favorites, like the fantasy The Princess Bride and the film noir crime drama L.A. Confidential, will be sure to entertain film aficionados. Hollywood will celebrate the best in filmmaking at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony, will honor the best films from 2021 on March 28. New Hulu original horror-thriller Fresh, which stars Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones, will also be available for streaming.
