Disney Cruise Line Pixar Days at Sea for 2023

In early 2023, Disney Cruise Line will host an all-new Pixar Day at Sea series of themed sailings aboard the Disney Fantasy. Like on Marvel Day at Sea and Star Wars Day at Sea cruises, one day on each of nine special voyages will be dedicated to all things Pixar — showcasing the likes of “Toy Story,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “The Incredibles” and “Finding Nemo.” Guests can expect themed dining, character meet-and-greets, photo-ops, dance parties, a film festival, staged musical experience and signature deck extravaganza, plus exclusive merchandise.

A cavalcade of character interactions will be available throughout the day including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep from “Toy Story”; Mike, Sulley and Boo from “Monsters, Inc.”; Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out”; Dug and Russell from “Up”; and Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone from “The Incredibles.”

Pixar Day at Sea Special Entertainment

You and your little sailors can expect to find a kid-friendly dance party featuring Pixar characters, as well as a theatrical interpretation of “Coco” bringing to life Miguel and his family with live music and puppetry, and an evening event in which guests are called upon to help the Incredibles save the day.

Themed Dining

Last but not least, Pixar Day will feature a full menu of themed foods. Breakfast will begin with Sheriff Woody, Jesse and Bullseye hosting with sing-a-longs, serenades and country comfort food. Then, a Pixar-themed dinner will feature dishes inspired by California, home to the animation studios’ headquarters. Specific to Animator’s Palate, patrons will have the opportunity to converse with Crush from “Finding Nemo” and visit with others from the movie.

Pixar Day at Sea is scheduled on nine select sailings from January to March 2023 on the Disney Fantasy departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Itineraries will include eastern and western Caribbean routes and eastern ports of call such as Tortola, St. Thomas and San Juan, Puerto Rico and western stops like Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman and Falmouth, Jamaica. And each vacation showcases Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

Marvel Day at Sea from Miami

In other Disney Cruise Line news, the popular Marvel Day at Sea will be returning in 2023 as well. While Marvel Day at Sea has been happening since 2017, for the first time select Disney Cruise Line sailings from Miami will be able to enjoy the experience as well. And if you happen to be on one of those Miami sailings, you’ll be a part of the largest gathering of Marvel Heroes and Villians at sea yet.

Here are the 2023 itineraries with Marvel Day at Sea scheduled:

Beginning Jan. 7, 2023, Marvel Day at Sea will take place on nine five-night Caribbean and Bahamian cruises sailing from Miami. 

Departing Jan. 16, Jan. 30, Feb. 13, and Feb. 27, 2023, the Western Caribbean itinerary includes a stop at Cozumel, Mexico, and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Departing Jan. 7, Jan. 21, Feb. 4, Feb. 18, and March 4, 2023, the Western Caribbean itinerary includes Georgetown, Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay.
