We’re only a short time into the new year and, by now, there’s a good chance you’ve already broken some of those resolutions you made at midnight. To help you out, here’s a few more you might add – some Disney-inspired New Year’s resolutions…
- I will accept the things I cannot change (price increases.)
- I will wait to complain about Genie+ until I actually use it.
- I’ll finally fill out that application to become an Imagineer.
- I will lead the charge to get Pepe the King Prawn his well-deserved and overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
- I will limit my intake of churros to four a day…except on weekends.
- I will clean up my language, only using the phrases “Oh, bother”, “Gawrsh”, and “Bless me bagpipes”.
- I will restrict my collection of Disney memorabilia to one room…two rooms…5 rooms… I will buy a new house to hold by Disney collection.
- I will offer a spoonful of sugar to anyone taking the vaccine.
- I will spend more time with my family…as long as they are willing to go with me to the parks.
- I will not start working on my Disney Halloween costume until….what day is it now?
- I will not say bad things about any Avatar sequels until such time as I have actually seen them. At that point, I will heap unending disdain upon them.
- I will try not to smack the next person I hear ask where they can find Bugs Bunny.
- I will do more volunteer work by going to the parks and telling everyone everything they need to know about everything.
- In the spirit of new beginnings, I will finally forgive Disney for removing “Horizons”. However, what they did to “The Journey Into Imagination”? Never!!!
- And above all else, let’s all resolve to have more fun than we can stand.
