You might recall the name Brian Morrow from our articles about SeaWorld’s TurtleTrek, Manta and Mako roller coasters, and Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. Brian led creative direction of the SeaWorld parks for over 12 years and was involved in countless projects. He has since founded his own company, B Morrow Productions, a creative design and production studio specializing in themed experiences, gamification, invention, and production. His clients range from global brands such as SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, The Ritz-Carlton, Gaylord Hotels, and Kennedy Space Center, to numerous zoos including the San Antonio Zoo, Busch Gardens, and ZooTampa.
Brian recently found himself as a contestant on a national television show with none other than Martha Stewart as the main judge. Morrow said it all started with a LinkedIn message from a production company that he thought was spam. But after a few days of thinking about it, he reached out to learn it was actually a real thing. Brian went through an extensive set of interviews over the phone and zoom and beat out 400 others to become one of the eight contestants on Table Wars, HGTV’s new extreme tabletop and special event design competition series, where he goes head to head with seven talented designers.

Brian had no experience decorating tables, and wondered why he was scouted for the show. In the end, his decades of experience as a themed entertainment creative director made him a good fit for this inventive show.
“I found my passion for theme park and entertainment design at a young age of nine, when I started to build models of rides in my basement,” said Brian. “I launched B Morrow Productions to allow myself creative exposure to a diverse group of clients and projects, and I’m loving being able to hire from the pool of talented Orlando designers and producers.”
Many of Brian’s projects combine storytelling and emotions to inspire guests to connect to each other, and this philosophy is helping him to connect with the judges on the show. Just look at this insanely creative table he created for one of his challenges:

Table Wars is an extreme tabletop and special event design competition with entertaining superstar Martha Stewart as a judge. Other judges on the series include Emmy Award-winning actress Tamera Mowry-Housley and event planner and designer Chris Hessney. We’ll find out if Brian is the big winner of the show tonight (new episodes have been running every Sunday).
We’re crossing our fingers for Brian in tonight’s show. But whether or not he wins, he’s shown that he’s got the creativity to do amazing things.
