THIS ARTICLE HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH ALL THE LATEST HOLIDAY MERCHANDISE!
[Depending on where certain items are purchased, they may either have the Disneyland or Walt Disney World logo printed on them. And even if you can’t make it to Disneyland or Walt Disney World this holiday season, you still have a chance to snag some holiday merchandise, many of which are also sold on shopDisney.]
Apparel
You can indeed “Stay Cozy” in this pullover hoodie, decorated with sequined lettering and embroidered snowflakes.
These denim joggers have the smiling faces of Mickey and Minnie in Santa caps screen printed on the fabric.
This kids’ shirt has cookie versions of Marvel’s Avengers and the message, “Season’s Eatings.”
This Disney Tails Dog Comfort Harness combines the jolliness of a mouse-eared Santa cap with the coziness of a ski vest.
Disney Tails adds to an already robust dog’s Spirit Jersey holiday lineup with this fuzzy pine green shirt for dogs. It matches a previously-released human-sized Spirit Jersey.
It wouldn’t be a seasonal occasion without a Spirit Jersey and guests have several new holiday designs to choose from. One is a lightweight woven sweater, a riff on the traditional “ugly sweater.” It has panels with images of character mugs filled with hot cocoa and a snowy castle, among others. The next one has a plaid print on the bottom and “Disneyland” written on the back, with the letters filled with holiday sweets. Another features a print of Mickey and pals enjoying a snow day. There’s a pine green Spirit Jerse that has a bottom portion made of fuzzy fabric with Mickey Mouse’s face imprinted on it. And finally, there is a style full of Star Wars characters with holiday imagery.
The trim on Mickey’s Santa hat on this crewneck sweatshirt has a fuzzy texture to it! Also, the contrast stitching near the neck can occasionally look crooked, so look at the garment carefully before purchasing your own.
Bundle up for the upcoming cold weather with this Minnie Mouse fleece jacket. It has a white and pink color scheme accented with a little Minnie Mouse embroidered on the chest. In addition, it has a satin-like fabric lining on the inside and elastic ties on the bottom.
Toy Story’s Slinky Dog appears on this thermal-knit shirt to inform everyone that it is the season of “Sweater Weather.”
If you are hoping for scented Star Wars shirts, you are in luck. There are two designs, one for adults and another for kids. I think the kids’ one is cuter, with the Chewbacca cookie art and “Wookies and Milk” phrase on the front. The adults’ one says, “Dashing through the snow,” joined by a cookie Death Star (with a bite taken out) and edible Tie-Fighters. Both designs have a gingerbread cookie fragrance.
The stylized art on this crewneck sweatshirt depicts Grogu of Star Wars’ The Mandalorian surrounded by presents. The garment also has the message, “Merry Force be with You.”
This hoodie has art similar to what is found on the back of the Star Wars Spirit Jersey. However, unlike many hoodies seen these days, this one has individual side pockets rather than one large kangaroo pocket in the front.
These stretchy leggings would match well with any of the other Star Wars-themed holiday apparel seen above. It is covered characters hiding, sledding, and racing amongst the paneled trees.
Superhero hopefuls have several outfit options this holiday season. First, there are two crewneck sweatshirts, one with a cutesy version of Groot with the phrase, “Season’s Grootings,” and another designed to resemble a sweater themed to Captain America. Next is a short-sleeved shirt with Spider-Man swinging down a string of lights wrapped around from the Marvel logo.
There are holiday onesies for the adults and kids on your gift list (sorry, babies), covered with images of different character mugs filled with piping hot cocoa. There are also pajama sets with this print, consisting of a long sleeve top and sleep pants.
This kids’ pajama set includes a buttoned long sleeve top and matching pants. Both pieces are in a red plaid print with a little Mickey smiling on the top’s chest. There is also a kids’ nightgown in this style with Minnie embroidered near the hem as well as baby onesie built-in booties as well as an embroidered image of Mickey Mouse on the chest.
This Chip n’ Dale-themed baby clothing set has the mischievous pair of chipmunks on the front of the top, joined by matching pajama bottoms.
This pullover sweater may say “Bah Humbug!” but its festive colors and humorous appliqué art of Donald Duck with Chip n’ Dale is still full of holiday spirit.
The striping on this t-shirt’s fabric is reminiscent of peppermint candies. The graphic shows a classic Mickey Mouse, bundled up for winter, with the greeting “Merry Christmas” from Walt’s Holiday Lodge.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse ice-skate across the front of this denim button-up shirt. The two mice are embroidered appliqué with a screen-printed backdrop.
Chip n’ Dale are both naughty and nice on this “Naughty n’ Ice” adult shirt.
With a Mickey graphic similar to the peppermint-hued shirt we saw earlier, the glitter on the Disneyland logo on this women’s tee adds a touch of sparkle to your holiday wardrobe.
A tiny castle is hidden in the “On Holiday” message in this shirt with a Santa cap-wearing Mickey underneath it.
In my opinion, this T-shirt, with distressed art of Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Santa outfits, is the least impressive of Disneyland’s holiday merchandise for 2021. Something about the graphic looks cheap, especially compared to the rest of the seasonal offerings.
Choose between lounge parents with either a dog or cat-themed holiday print and top it off with the previously-released Santa Paws hoodie.
The younger set gets this pine tree-hued tee all to themselves. The shirt’s art depicts Mickey, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy trimming a Christmas tree with the phrase “Holidays are happier together” along with the Disneyland logo.
This sweet girls’ nightshirt has a graphic of hot cocoa in character mugs on the front plus the phrase “Sugar and Spice” with a matching print on the sleeves. It matches the onesies and pajama set seen above.
Santa hasn’t forgotten his furry friends, either. Pets have three new holiday outfits, perfect for those greeting card photos. One is a Spirit Jersey, made to match the wintery wonderland version for humans. Next, is a plaid “nightshirt” with Pluto embroidered on the back. Then, we have a heather grey shirt with a hot cocoa-filled character mug print, complete with striped red and white ribbing on the collar, hem, and sleeves.
Accessories
The print on this Loungefly Mini Backpack is full of different candies and baked goods found at Disney Parks, along with sugar cookie versions of Parks icons.
This Loungefly crossbody bag takes the form of a Chewbacca cookie, complete with a glass of milk as a zipper pull. It is not terribly big in storage capacity but huge on charm.
If you had to wear an Ear Headband to a holiday party, this Minnie Mouse Cranberry Holiday Ear Headband would be your best choice. Covered in velour and encrusted with faceted gems and accents, this style is a bit more on the fancy side (as far as Ear Headbands will go, that is).
Perhaps my favorite Ear Headband design created for 2021’s holiday season is the Mickey Mouse Holiday Sweater Ear Headband. Each ear has a different pattern made of knitted material. And there are various patches on the front and back of both ears. Something about this style seems to fit perfectly into winter. I love it.
Celebrate the 12 days of Christmas with the charm bracelet set, including the bracelet chain and 12 themed charms.
This red and green pet collar has a charm of Santa Mickey hanging from its ring.
For the past two years, Disney has included a cookie-themed Ear Headband in their holiday lineup, and now it’s 2021’s turn. However, unlike previous designs, this one is inspired by frosted sugar cookies rather than gingerbread. This one is also the first year not to include a bow with this style.
Want a little bit of holiday head bling but can’t tolerate wearing an Ear Headband? This light-up bow is an alternative option.
Not only is this soft pink scarf plush and comfy, but it is also decorated with pompom Hidden Mickeys.
Mickey and Minnie ride a ski lift in the art printed on this PopSocket.
You can add to any Star Wars holiday outfit with some themed socks, which come in either Grogu or Chewbacca cookie designs.
Two of the Ear Headbands are styles that were sold last year. One is a light-up Mickey Balloon design, decorated with a snowflake pattern. The other is a crimson-hued sequin-encrusted style.
Spirit Jersey may be the best known for its long sleeve shirts but it also makes bucket hats. This one has plaid accents with a Disneyland logo full of desserts. It perfectly matches one of their Spirit Jersey shirts made for this season.
Santa Stitch is appliquéd on the front of this baseball cap. He appears to be in the middle of enjoying a candy cane.
Sherpa-lined Crocs are apparently the new slippers for this holiday season. They have a mug and cookies print on the top with a matching charm on each shoe.
Dooney & Bourke addicts will need to make their way over to the Disney Dress Shop to get their hands on this collection. The print used is the same as what is seen on one of the Spirit Jerseys.
Home Goods and Decor
This Starbucks ceramic tumbler has art inspired by Disneyland’s holiday seasons in years past (hence Mickey’s now-jarring, old-school appearance).
The red “berries” that dot this Mickey-shaped wreath form Hidden Mickeys.
Decorate your home with a chain of LED lights in the shape of Hidden Mickeys. Choose from a clear set or a colorful assortment.
These Mickey and Minnie Mouse Nutcrackers (sold separately) would look darling sitting on a mantle above a fireplace or even as centerpieces for a holiday meal.
This light-up figurine is from Walt’s Holiday Lodge Collection and includes wooden cutouts of Mickey, Minnie, and their pals, dashing through the snow with a wooden castle in the middle, all encased under a glass dome. Press a button to illuminate the castle portion.
After being wound up, this wooden music box spins around while playing the melody to “Deck the Halls.”
As someone who cooks and bakes daily, I find it odd that this holiday apron uses an off-white fabric (the red parts are the pocket and ties). The aesthetic is pleasing to look at but completely impractical. The adorable character-filled print will be soiled in a heartbeat, and it will be hard to clean off because of the light-colored base.
These salt and pepper shakers, shaped like log cabins, are perhaps the largest of their kind that I have ever seen. They come with a base that resembles a snow-covered forest, complete with miniature pine trees.
This cabin-shaped cookie jar has art of Mickey and friends on all sides.
This baking set includes a mixing bowl, a spatula, a whisk, and two cookie cutters. The cookie cutters are shaped like a traditional Hidden Mickey and a Hidden Mickey wearing a Santa cap.
With a metal base and wooden handles, this serving tray has a simple, rustic look.
This throw blanket has fleece on one side and flannel on the other.
The Mandalorian’s beloved pint-sized alien, Grogu, takes the form of a knitted stocking. Towards the stocking’s toe is the message “Joy to the Galaxy.”
Inspired by Oogie Boogie’s scene in Haunted Mansion Holiday, this somewhat sinister nutcracker portrays the Boogie Man in a Santa costume, standing atop his roulette wheel.
These rustic Christmas stockings are from Walt’s Holiday Lodge Collection. They come in Mickey and Minnie designs, each sold separately.
On one side, this reversible table runner has a plaid base with an appliqué of Mickey, Goofy, and Donald being pulled in a sled by Pluto (good boy!). The other side has the now-familiar snow day print.
This pet food placemat’s image of Mickey and pals decorating for the holidays is charming. However, the large “Made in China” label detracts from it a bit (it isn’t a sticker, it’s printed right on the mat!).
Santa Mickey tries to sneak past Pluto on this throw blanket and matching throw pillow. These items debuted last year.
Mickey and Minnie prance around this snowy scene with a light-up lightpost.
If you love the old-timey look of Victorian postcards, you are going to adore this hanging metal sign of Mickey and Minnie sharing a smooch.
Ornaments
These paper ornaments are very retro. They come in old-school designs inspired by original Disney Christmas cards.
Hidden Mickeys abounds with a multitude of different mouse head-shaped ornaments now on the shelves.
Alternatively, you can choose a deconstructed Mickey ornament set.
And several of the transportation methods of the Disney Parks are immortalized in these blown glass ornaments.
Toys and Sweet Treats
Uncover a different jigsaw puzzle daily for 25 days (or all at once, if you can’t take the anticipation) in this Puzzle Advent Calendar.
The Disney nuiMOs plush toys have four new outfits in a holiday collection.
This tin contains 18 peppermint bark pieces, shaped like either Mickey or Minnie.
This set of five candy bars includes five festive flavors: dark chocolate peppermint crunch, milk, chocolate, dark chocolate sea salt, milk chocolate marshmallow, and an eggnog-flavored one.
Taken straight from art seen on other pieces in Walt’s Holiday Lodge Collection, this Pluto plush comes equipped with a keg of hot cocoa and donning reindeer antlers. Fittingly, the pup smells of chocolate.
This toy train, created for the 2021 holiday season, has art from Walt’s Holiday Lodge Collection and is even dated with the year. Unfortunately, this model seems lackluster compared to previous years, which included character figures riding the train instead of just stickers.
There is something I find off-putting about the bulbous shape of Mickey’s head on this bubble wand, but I am sure this one will still sell like hotcakes. Alternatively, you can choose this glow necklace if you are hoping for a gizmo that lights up.
Little Grogu wears a holiday style of his typical collared robe. He comes packaged with a snow-covered version of his pram.
Humans shouldn’t be the only ones to get presents. And you can gift a chew toy version of a wreath, complete with a bow and Pluto icon, to your favorite furry friend.
The Wishables 12-day Countdown Calendar is a highly sought-after collectible. And with 12 different Wishables plushes made exclusively for the set, it is no surprise. This item might be sold behind the register at World of Disney (it was on our visit).
Countdown to Christmas (and your next visit to the dentist) with this milk chocolate-filled advent calendar.
Regardless of what winter holiday you celebrate, a steamy mug of hot cocoa provides an extra hint of fun on a chilly day. This trio of hot cocoa mixes includes three flavors: Chocolate S’mores, Peppermint Twist, and Double Chocolate.
Chanukah Offerings
The same Chanukah merchandise has been sold at the Disneyland Resort for the past three years. It uses a charming image of a Classic Mickey and Minnie Mouse exchanging gifts, surrounded by candles and dreidels. I loved it the first time I saw it … in 2019. But to see a new and robust line of Christmasy merchandise every year but the repeated use of the same tiny amount of items for Chanukah is not a great expression of inclusiveness. In any case, offerings at present include a throw pillow and dish towel set. Chag Sameach!
