It’s no surprise that Disneyland’s Cast Members are truly the magic-makers of the resort. And over the years, there are certain CMs that really stand out. One such character is Maynard, who has gained a reputation as one of the most beloved and well-known CMs in the resort. Maynard is so popular that there are even Facebook groups dedicated to him filled with wacky pictures and hysterical videos of his slapstick and sometimes outrageous improv routines.
Maynard has been working at Disneyland since 1993, and he brings a unique personal touch to any attraction at which he is working. His just-barely-approved-by-Disney performances of The Enchanted Tiki Room spiel are some of his most famous, and they are side-splittingly hilarious. If you ever see him outside of the Tiki Room, you must go inside just to watch his performance.
While Maynard can often be found at the Tiki Room, he also works attractions throughout the park. On June 15th, we found Maynard working in New Orleans Square along the Rivers of America.
When I asked Maynard for a picture, he also wanted to share some “insider information” about the goings-on around the park while it was closed. Maynard gave us some exclusive, rare, and ultra-insider ‘information’ that you just won’t hear anywhere else. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this.
