We were recently invited by Funko Games to have a sneak peek at all the new Disney games they’re releasing this year. Lots of amazing new games filled with fun for all ages. Although we can’t talk about EVERYTHING *just yet*, we can give you a look as some of the exciting things coming soon…
It’s A Small World
“The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed” is now a beautiful new board game!
Celebrate the classic Disney Parks attraction, “it’s a small world,” in this playful journey. This find-and-match game includes a 3D game board centerpiece with beautifully illustrated scenes from the classic Disney Parks attraction. Players will journey through the waterway in a team boat and match picture cards to the scenes as they travel from room to room.
This game is aimed for ages 4 and up, and can be played by 2-6 players. Gametime run is approximately 20 minutes.
The iconic clock tower also serves as the game’s “spinner”. Players rotate the clock face to make the “day” go by, and once it reaches “sunset”, the player with the most matches wins the game.
The artwork for this game is absolutely stunning. Funko Games took a lot of care to get everything just right. It looks exactly like the iconic ride that’s been delighting guests since the 1964-65 World’s Fair.
Even if you don’t have little ones, if you’re a fan of the It’s A Small World attraction this game would be a must-have.
This game retails for $24.99, is available now on ShopDisney, and will also be sold at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It will be available on Amazon beginning July 1st.
