New Year’s Eve is fast approaching, and Busch Gardens Tampa is offering guests not one, but two New Year’s experiences to help manage crowd capacity – one for a daytime visit and one for a nighttime visit with two fireworks celebrations.

Busch Gardens consulted with medical experts to provide a safe way for guests to have fun ringing in the new year. The event features open-air entertainment, delicious treats, and world-class rollercoasters and amazing animal encounters.
Guests have one of two choices to celebrate the new year at the park. Both options require advance reservations.
Option 1: Daytime from 9:00am to 5:00pm – Guests can enjoy holiday treats and other fare at the Christmas Town food cabins, enjoy thrill rides and see the animals that call Busch Gardens home.
Option 2: Nighttime from 6:00pm to 1:00am – Combines the magic of Christmas Town with TWO fireworks shows to help ring in the new year. Fireworks shows will be at 8:30pm and 11:30pm.
Reservations for both options are now available online and can be made on the Busch Gardens website. It is STRONGLY suggested to make your reservations in advance as soon as possible due to park capacity limitations. Day-of/walk-up reservations may not be accommodated.
Additionally, because of limited fireworks viewing spots, and to manage crowd size, there will also be advance reservations for fireworks viewing from Festival Field (behind Iron Gwazi). This is a small upcharge of $6.99 per guest and can be purchased online here. If you don’t want to pay the upcharge fee, don’t fret! There will be several fireworks viewing areas around the park that are included with park admission. Here’s a map of the best viewing locations:
