The Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series, which is themed to a different Disney Parks attraction each month, is fittingly closing out the year with the most classic way to end a day at the Parks, watching the fireworks over the castle. That’s right; December is the Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale. This merchandise collection will be available on shopDisney on December 8 from 7am Pacific to 11:59pm Pacific. Are you ready for this grand finale?

How to Purchase The Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale
Like the previous five months, this series is available to purchase through shopDisney using their MerchPass system. If you need a refresher on how that all works, here is the rundown:
What is MerchPass?
MerchPass is a lottery-type system that allows those lucky enough to get a pass the first opportunity to buy high-demand Disney items.
How MerchPass works and things to know
- You must have an account on shopDisney.com to enter.
- You are entering for an opportunity to purchase an item or items. You get to select which items you want a chance at buying.
- You can enter multiple drawings but only one item entry per drawing is allowed. If your entry was selected, the product will be automatically added to your shopDisney Bag, log in to complete your purchase.
- If selected, you will get an email from shopDisney announcing you won a chance to purchase. Be sure to check your spam folders as well. If you don’t receive an email, then you weren’t selected. Additionally, if you are selected, you are not required to buy the item(s) you were interested in.
- Selected winners will have a limited-time window to purchase the items.
The window for MerchPass entries for Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction – Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale will open December 8 at 7am Pacific and close that same day at 11:59 pm Pacific.
Please note that the links in this article are not active until December 8 at 7am Pacific.
Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale Plush ($29.99)
Something about Minnie’s outfit this month makes me think of figure skating costumes. I don’t know if it’s the color scheme, the fabric used, or some combination thereof. In any case, I rather like it. It could also pass for a fancy dress worn to a New Year’s Eve party, I suppose. And did you catch the Hidden Mickey amongst the fireworks on her skirt?

Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale Loungefly Mini Backpack ($90)
Much like the plush in this collection, this mini backpack by Loungefly utilizes bursts of neon colors to represent fireworks. I am glad to see the Hidden Mickey fireworks from the plush’s dress was added to the front compartment. The color scheme carries over onto the edges of the zippers seen on the front and main pockets. The tiny castle from Minnie’s bow also made the cut but the black sequins on the bow ribbon against black sequins on the body of the bag make it a little hard to see.

Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale Ear Headband ($34.99)
For the Ear Headband, the castle in the sequined bow is covered with little golden studs, adding to the overall eye-catching quality of the accessory. I must confess, I am pleased to see that the band itself doesn’t incorporate sequins into its design. I think that would be uncomfortable against your ears. As for the fireworks printed on the headband’s plush “ears,” it seems a bit odd that the Hidden Mickey from the plush and mini backpack didn’t make the cut here.

Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale Pin Set ($19.99)
This gorgeous trio is a fitting end to the pin sets of the series. Minnie’s darling pose looks as if she is in the midst of a cheer. And that castle! Oh my goodness, it is majestic. I know that sounds like a grand term to use when describing a pin but don’t you agree? The Hidden Mickey makes a reappearance in the background of this one. And as is often the case in this merchandise series, the Ear Headband pin is the weak link in the set.

Nighttime Fireworks and Castle Finale Mug ($19.99)
The last stackable mug in the set would make a great vessel to enjoy your first coffee of the new year. The metallic tint to the castle and some of the fireworks makes the mug look almost fancy. And I am very glad to see that the Hidden Mickey is here, too.
