Disneyland Resort is ramping up for their new Marvel themed land, Avengers Campus. In addition to some rapid construction and the recent landing of the Quinjet in the new land, they are also casting for characters and stunt performers!
Disney is specifically looking for stunt performers to play the roles of Black Panther and Captain America in a “Live action show.” Here are the requirements for the two roles:
Black Panther
Casting professional STUNT PERFORMERS with extensive training and experience to portray BLACK PANTHER. Black Panther (5’10” to 6’2”) has an athletic build. This role is based off of the character from the 2018 Black Panther film. Ideal candidates should be highly proficient in hand to hand combat and be able to demonstrate a series of physical skills based on the role. Skills may include, but are not limited to: acrobatics, tumbling, bo staff handling, and wall climbing.
Captain America
Casting professional STUNT PERFORMERS with extensive training and experience to portray CAPTAIN AMERICA. Captain America (5’11” to 6’3”) has an athletic build. Ideal candidates should be highly proficient in hand to hand combat and be able to demonstrate a series of physical skills based on the role. Skills may include, but are not limited to: acrobatics, tumbling, and sword/shield combat.
In addition to the two stunt roles posted above, Disney is currently casting a new General Okoye of the Dora Milaje. If you need a job and don’t mind shaving your head, this one might be for you:
General Okoye
Casting strong actors to portray GENERAL OKOYE. General Okoye (5’4” to 6’0”) has an athletic build and a powerful presence. She is the leader of the Dora Milaje, Wakanda’s formidable female fighting force from the 2018 Black Panther film. General Okoye performs with a shaved head.
