If you weren’t able to snag a tasting card for Knott’s Berry Farm’s limited-time Taste of Calico event in Ghost Town, we’ve got some great news. Although Knott’s remains closed as a theme park, it has just announced a big expansion of its current food festival, and on a much larger scale. The all-new “Taste of Knott’s” event is an outdoor dining and retail experience that begins August 21 and will utilize the whole park, not just Calico. Here’s what you can look forward to!
Taste of Knott’s
Taste of Knott’s will celebrate classic flavors from around the park including new and one-of-a-kind food, drink and merchandise offerings throughout Ghost Town, Fiesta Village and Boardwalk. With over 35 food and drink items to choose from, the Taste of Knott’s event will offer more food variety with the addition of Mexican-inspired cuisine, Knott’s famous BBQ offerings and classic Knott’s dishes pulled from the pages of the celebrated Knott’s Berry Farm Cookbook. In addition to dining, guests can shop at 14 craft booths and at select Knott’s retail stores.
This special festival will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from August 21st through September 13th and costs $30 for entry (including 5 food tastings) or $15 for children aged 2-11 (including 3 food tastings). The previous Taste of Calico event cost $25, and a $5 increase for a much larger utilization of the park is pretty good. Hours run Noon to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays Noon until 8pm.
Taste of Knott’s Options include:
- Tater Tots Topped with BBQ Marinated Pulled Pork and Cheddar Cheese
- Shrimp Po’ Boy
- Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp

- Mini Jalapeno Chicken Slider on a Ciabatta Bun with Crinkle Chips
