I know we have all been eagerly awaiting Marvel Campus’s opening at Disney California Adventure. And while I can’t bring you any news on that front, I am thrilled to share some other Marvel-themed excitement. Good Smile Company‘s Nendoroid posable figure line has added two new heroes to their roster, Hulk and Ant-Man. Both Avengers (well, there are technically three – you’ll see what I mean) are currently available for pre-order. Let’s get a look at the goods!
Nendoroid Hulk: Endgame Ver.
Perhaps the most identifiable feature of Nendoroid figures is their big head/little body character design. And I must admit that the translation of Hulk’s, well, hulking form into the traditional Nendoroid style is most impressive.
Hulk, dressed in his outfit seen in Avengers: Endgame, comes packaged with a standard face plate as well as an “angry” one, the Nano Gauntlet with interchangeable pieces so it can be pointing or open palmed, and a special base themed to the film’s final scene.
Nendoroid Hulk: Endgame Ver. (¥7,273) is currently available for pre-order, directly from Good Smile Company (he costs $80 here) as well as international partner shops. The pre-order period for this Nendoroid runs through July 9th at 12pm Japan Time. The figure is scheduled to ship in October 2020.
Nendoroid Ant-Man: Endgame Ver.
Next up, we have Nendoroid Ant-Man: Endgame Ver.! The posable figure may not come with a special base like Hulk but his accessories make up for it. There is even a teeny, little Wasp figure to accompany him!
Accessories included in the set are swappable faces of Ant-Man with and without his mask and miniature versions of Ant-Man and Wasp. The miniature figures can be positioned with the independent support arms that attach to the base, which are also included.
Nendoroid Ant-Man: Endgame Ver. (¥4,545) is currently not available for pre-order from the official Good Smile Company online shop. You might still find him at international partner shops, though. He is scheduled to ship this October.
Nendoroid Ant-Man: Endgame Ver. DX
Want more Ant-Man? Well, you’re in luck because a DX set of the Nendoroid Ant-Man is also an option. The “DX” means it has all the items along with extra accessories (including a special base similar to Hulk’s). The additional accessories, like ones found in the standard edition, focus on the Avenger’s special size-changing abilities.
Purchase this figure and you’ll not only get Nendoroid Ant-Man and everything included in the standard version but also receive a “growing” special effects part, a miniature of the brown van, and a themed figure base.
Nendoroid Ant-Man: Endgame Ver. DX (¥7,727) is available to pre-order from the Good Smile Company online shop (where it costs and $80.99) as well as international partner shops. The window to pre-order this figure closes on July 9 at 12pm Japan Time. He is scheduled to ship in October.
