In this day and age, face masks are a CDC-recommended necessity. And Disney is now making several of their own sets of themed reusable face masks, available for pre-order on shopDisney. And like most things related to Disney, there is a bit of a background story. Read on for more info on these masks and charity work involved with them!

Meet the Masks

Before we look at the different designs, let’s talk about the masks themselves. These cloth face masks align with the FDA’s latest recommendations for non-surgical, non-industrial grade face masks. However, they do not replace medical-grade ones. And remember that social distancing is still the most effective way to slow the spread of the virus.

Each set ($19.99 each) is available in small, medium, and large. Use the chart below to see which one you need. Now, onto those sweet, sweet designs!

The “Marvel” set includes three prints and one mask that replicates the Hulk’s face.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large.

For those wanting to feel more regal, there is the “Princess and Frozen” set. Ariel and the Frozen sisters both get their own masks with the remaining two being a mix of all of the princesses.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large.

This set is simply dubbed “Disney” and features the mouths and noses of Pooh, Stitch, Mickey, and Marie. Think of it as a really simple cosplay but with a purpose. These designs are reminiscent of the masks found in the Tokyo Disney Resort.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large.

The “Star Wars” set not only includes, among others, art inspired by the movie poster for A New Hope but also has a mask devoted to Baby Yoda (excuse me, the Child).

Available in Small, Medium, and Large.

It is hard not to smile when seeing the art on the “Pixar” set. The two prints are my favorite but the Forky one is pretty fun, too. And the Mike one is certainly unique.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large.

The “Mickey and Minnie Mouse” set is nothing but prints and I am not about to complain, especially when they are all this cute.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large.

Charity and Masks

Disney is donating 1 million of these mask sets to vulnerable communities all across the country. The organization MedShare will be in charge of the redistribution effort. And as a feel-good bonus, all profits from US mask sales will be donated to MedShare as well, up to $1 million, now through September 30.

This isn’t the first mask-based charity effort from The Walt Disney Company. They also donated 100,000 N95 masks to California, New York, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Additionally, 175,000 rain ponchos were donated to hospitals who needed additional protective gear.

Opportunity Knocks!

Special comeback rates are now available at some of your favorite Anaheim hotels and are discounted up to $100 off their regular nightly rates.
