May the Force be with you! Tomorrow, May 4, marks a special occasion for Star Wars fans the world over – Star Wars Day! 2020 also marks the 40th anniversary of the theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. And a great way to commemorate any occasion is a special piece or two (or five) of themed memorabilia. With that in mind, shopDisney has planned a bunch of new merchandise and even one of those coveted Disney Store collectible keys. We’ve also included a variety of other Star Wars-themed items for your shopping pleasure.

Star Wars Day Collectible Key ($12.99)
The shopDisney collectible keys all have the same base but with a different theme for every release. This one, fittingly, features a lightsaber design along with Death Star-inspired graphics and the Star Wars logo.
Want to get your hands on one? The Star Wars key will be available for purchase here at shopDisney on May 4 at 7am Pacific, just like the rest of the merchandise featured in the article. It costs $12.99 and is limited to one key per guest.
Ahsoka Tano Minnie Mouse Ear Headband by Ashley Eckstein for Her Universe ($78.99)
Part of the Disney Parks Designer Series, this Ear Headband was designed by Her Universe’s Ashley Eckstein. Eckstein is known in the Star Wars fandom as the voice of Ahsoka Tano from the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. And that character is the inspiration for this headband’s design. The ears and bow mimic the color and markings on A hsoka’s headdress and head tails. We expect this item to sell especially quickly on Star Wars Day.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Tie-Dye Spirit Jersey for Adults ($64.99)
This special tie-dyed Spirit Jersey has the “40: Empire Strikes Back” emblem on the front breast but, like most Spirit Jerseys, the real draw is on the back. There, you’ll find art featuring Yoda in his swamp as well as “The Empire Strikes Back” wording again.

Star Wars “Destinations” Starbucks Mugs (price unknown)
Not much is known about these mugs. They were spotted on a revolving ad in shopDisney’s Star Wars section. All we can tell is that they are part of the Starbucks “Destination” series of coffee mugs. The three locales featured are Bespin, Hoth, and Dagobah.

Not only is the figure highly-posable but also it comes in fun retro-inspired packaging. This item is available for pre-order and is scheduled to ship in Fall 2020.
If you have been wanting to mix property management with intergalactic action then Monopoly: Star Wars The Child Edition ($19.99) is for you. You’ll buy and sell hideouts and common houses. You’ll deal with Camtono cards and Bounty Puck cards. But best of all, your piece is The Child! This board game is available for pre-order and will ship Fall 2020.
