A Visual Set of Clues
In the poster, Phil Coulson and the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are attired in 1930s period costume pieces, with the team’s time-traveling Zephyr One ship behind them. A ’30s-style automobile and diner are also in the background, with a rocket launching into space.
According to Marvel, an all-new Zephyr is set to time-jump at any moment. With the clock ticking, the team travels through time to push the limits of bending the laws of space and time in order to save the planet, reconnect their team, and return to the present.
Movie poster aficionados may recognize the style and composition of the poster’s illustration. Kyle Lambert, the artist who designed the poster, creates illustrated movie posters and key art for the entertainment industry. These include the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, Super 8, the television show Stranger Things, and attraction posters for Alton Towers’ Wicker Man and Univeral Studios’ 2019 teaser poster for Hollywood Horror Nights.
