It’s Earth Month and shopDisney is celebrating the occasion with the relaunch of their Mickey & Co. retro-style apparel line. Moreover, the line’s release is perfectly timed for Earth Day because of the eco-friendly friendly materials used.
Disney’s ‘Environmentality’ in Action
The clothing in this line, which harkens back to the fashion of the 80s and 90s, consists of up to 50 percent Repreve fiber, made from recycled plastic bottles. The bottles used actually came from the recycle bins at Walt Disney World. Consider it reusing the magic!

Meet Mickey & Co.
But, enough about the materials. Let’s get to the designs!
The Mickey and Friends shirt for Adults ($26.99) is total squad goals, with everyone in the gang present (even the often-forgotten Daisy).

“Bold” is the best way I can think of describing the Donald Duck Color Block Shirt ($26.99).

You can practically hear the exclamations of “Gawrsh” and “Ha-yuck” coming from the seemingly unlimited supply of Goofy faces on the aptly-named Goofy shirt ($26.99).
Nothing says “‘Mickey & Co.’ apparel” like this Mickey & Co. shirt ($26.99). I love the artwork on this one.

This Mickey and Pluto shirt ($26.99) does a spectacular job of conveying that 80s vibe.

Adding a colorful spin to the more classic Mickey look is this Ringer Shirt ($26.99).

You want more classic Mickey? Wish granted! And this time, he is joined by his gal pal, Minnie. You’ll find them on the Mickey Retro Graphic Shirt and the Minnie Retro Graphic Shirt ($26.99 each).

I saved the best (in my opinion) for last with the “So Classic” Shirt ($26.99). The faded colors combined with the old-school art earn them the “Best in Show” ribbon.

Let’s Hear from You!
What do you think of Disney’s use of the eco-friendly Magic Kingdom fabric? Would you like to see it used more? And what other designs would you like to see when additional merchandise is added to shopDisney’s Mickey & Co. line later in the year?
