We’re having a splashing good time in today’s theme park zen video as we journey to Knott’s Berry Farm. The historic Timber Mountain Log Ride was opened over 50 years ago in the summer of 1969. This incredible attraction was groundbreaking for its era and remains a park favorite to this day. The video below captures the Log Ride’s dramatic drop as well as the train & Silver Bullet coaster to the right, and Supreme Scream drop ride in the distance.

The Timber Mountain Log Ride has an elaborate nineteenth-century lumber camp theme with dozens of animatronic human and animal figures. Rushing water, dramatic lighting, and original music highlight the stage direction of the attraction. The grand finale of the ride is a 42′ drop into a logging lagoon, which is where our camera was focused.

What is Ten Minutes of Magic?!

This daily video series is designed to put you into a moment in time at a specific tourist location. The camera is in a fixed location which opens up a window for you to view everything that happened during that moment in time.  We don’t talk over the video or move around. If you are looking for full attraction videos, that’s not what this particular series is all about. These videos are more akin to meditation.

Relax, gather the family together, and enjoy your moment of theme park zen!
