The premiere of A Celebration of the Music from Coco will be streaming today on Disney+. The staged special captures the excitement of the live-to-film concert experience at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. The concert celebrates the 2017 Pixar film by blending the animated film with beautiful live on-stage performances. A 60-piece orchestra is led by Sarah Hicks, Principal Conductor of Live at Orchestra Hall with the Minnesota Orchestra.
The show is hosted by Eva Longoria and Benjamin Bratt, and features special guests Jaime Camil, Alanna Ubach, Natalia Jiménez and Alex Gonzalez, who portrays the lead role of Miguel.

It’s a unique film,” said Gonzalez. “The Hollywood Bowl is a very special place where we can celebrate and share our love and appreciation for music and Coco! It’s a huge honor and privilege to be a part of this beautiful performance at the Hollywood Bowl. I am so excited, can’t wait!”
Coco is a family-friendly, live-to-picture concert event featuring Michael Giacchino’s musical score. The film won two Academy Awards in 2017 for Best Original Song as well as Best Animated Feature Film.
Produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, Coco is an animated fantasy film that follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead. Miguel seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family among the living and to reverse his family’s ban on music.
