While Disney theme parks are closed indefinitely and park-goers are isolating at home, Disney has launched a new website designed to keep fans connected to the magic. Disney Magic Moments, which launched today, includes a virtual ride-through of attractions, storytime with actors, singalong time with the Dapper Dans, a virtual viewing of the new Magic Happens parade…and the new Frozen digital series At Home With Olaf.
The new website will make it easier to give everyone access in their homes to the magic of Disney by curating content across different platforms.
“#DisneyMagicMoments lets you experience the magic of Disney wherever you may be,” Disney says on the Magic Moments site. “Enjoy Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic with stories, videos, and activities to inspire imagination and discovery among kids, fans and families alike.”
Disney has also curated a set of resources to spark imagination and share magic on a special page on the Disney Parks Blog. On that page, visitors will be able to find family-fun activities, online resources and more: Learn & Create, Fun & Play and Care & Community.
Current Offerings To Fill Your Day With Pixie Dust
Some of the current offerings include storytime with Mulan voice actress and Disney Legend Ming-Na Wen and John Stamos, photos from Disney World, Epcot’s percussionist janitors jamming, recipes, Pixar coloring pages, as well as content from Marvel, Star Wars, Walt Disney Animation Studios, National Geographic, and more – for free!
A story worth fighting for. Ming-Na Wen reads a story from “A Place for Mulan.”
As you ride along on this iconic attraction, remember to keep your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the boat at all times. Off you go to the far corners of the world visiting every continent while being sung to by the children of the world.
Follow along as Frozen Animation Supervisor Hyrum Osmond shows you how to draw Olaf.
Starting this week, an all-new original Disney Animation digital series with everyone’s favorite snowman premieres. At Home With Olaf was created at home by Hyrum Osmond. Voiced from home by Josh Gad.
More content will be made available soon to help keep Disney fans entertained.
