Today’s 10 minutes of theme park zen video takes you to the bustling Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida. For those of you who are missing people watching and congregating in large groups, this video will be right up your alley! (See what I did there?):
Diagon Alley opened in 2014 as an expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You enter the area through an optical illusion of a brick wall, and everywhere you turn there’s something to capture your sense of wonder.
Here, you can take a tour of the Gringotts Bank, have a scoop of magical ice cream, meander through the area casting spells, and avoid the fire of a Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon. And don’t forget to go looking for Knockturn Alley, where the more sinister black-market dealings take place.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Wizarding World at Universal Studios, you’re in for a treat. Be sure to read our Muggle’s Guide below to find your next vacation destination.
What is Ten Minutes of Magic?!
This daily video series is designed to put you into a moment in time at a specific location in a theme park. The camera is in a fixed location which opens up a window for you to view everything that happened during that 10 minutes. We don’t talk over the video or move around. If you are looking for full attraction videos, that’s not what this particular series is all about. These videos are more akin to meditation.
Relax, gather the family together, and enjoy your 10 minutes of theme park zen!
