Here’s an iconic slice of the Disney parks, the drop on Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! We could stand there and watch the logs crest the top of Chickapin Hill and plummet into the briar patch down below . . .

Enjoy a 10 minute zen video of the drop sequence and have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah time:

Loosley based on Disney’s Song of the South (which we hope they’ll release on Disney+ one day), Splash Mountain contains nearly a million gallons of water, 3 dips and a 5-story drop.

Opened at Disney World in 1992, Splash Mountain was was based upon the 1983 Disneyland original, and was an instant park favorite even though most guests had likely never seen the film it was based upon. But, with classic songs like How Do You Do, Ev’rybody’s Got a Laughin’ Place, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, and cute characters like Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear, it was destined for greatness.

What is Ten Minutes of Magic?!

This daily video series is designed to put you into a moment in time at a specific location in a theme park. The camera is in a fixed location which opens up a window for you to view everything that happened during that 10 minutes.  We don’t talk over the video or move around. If you are looking for full attraction videos, that’s not what this particular series is all about. These videos are more akin to meditation.

Relax, gather the family together, and enjoy your 10 minutes of theme park zen!
