I hope you all are doing well during these trying times. Let’s try something new for MiceChat, a video game playthrough (video embedded below). I’m diving headfirst into the cute and fun DuckTales: Remastered, which was released in 2013. The original DuckTales game was released on the NES in 1989, and this is a very faithful recreation of the game with some added bonuses.

DuckTales: Remastered is a fun side-scrolling platforming game where you’ll take the role of Scrooge McDuck and battle your way through different lands to find the world’s greatest treasures. It was released on Steam (PC), Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, Wii U, iOS and Windows Phones, so it’s still available for you to get your hands on in one way or another.

DuckTales: Remastered has a 2D look with some added depth on the backgrounds. The characters have a hand-drawn 2D appearance, while the levels are 3D modeled. The hero of the game is Scrooge McDuck, who travels across the world in search of five treasures to increase his fortune.

It took one and a half years to create DuckTales: Remastered and it features an expanded storyline and play enhancements, alongside original graphics and audio. The voice cast includes much of the original animated series cast.
