Disney+ Marvel Shows Get Super Bowl Trailers – Watch and Discuss!

Marvel Disney+ The Universe is Expanding

One of the things I was most excited about with Disney+ was the upcoming Marvel shows that had been announced. We finally got to see trailers for them during the Super Bowl tonight. Check out the video to take a peek at The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki!

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

First up in the trailer was The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. I’ll be curious to see how well Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) will be able to get along as global adventures test their abilities, as well as their patience. It will be directed by Kari Skogland, and the head writer is Malcolm Spellman. It will be debuting this fall on Disney+.

WandaVision

WandaVision looked especially interesting as you get to see a blend of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wanda Maximoff and Vision take the center stage as they adjust to living their ideal suburban-lives, all while still having the super-powers you know and love. However, not everything is as it seems. The series is directed by Matt Shakman, with Jac Schaeffer as the head writer. WandaVision will debut on Disney+ later this year.

Loki

Last up we see a quick snippet of Loki causing mayhem as he does best. The God of Mischief takes the leading role in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Not much has been released about the series yet, but this is what made me get Disney+ in the first place, so I can’t wait. Loki is directed by Kate Herron and written by Michael Waldron. It will debut on Disney+ next year, in 2021.
