The all-new Beauty & the Beast Sing-Along show opens this Friday, January 17th! We recently previewed the new show, at the Palais de Cinema theater in Epcot’s France Pavilion.
The performance is film-based, directed and produced by the legendary Disney animator Don Hahn, who produced both the animated and live-action versions of Beauty and the Beast. Since it’s a Sing-Along, lyrics are provided so you can join in on the fun!
According to Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald, the goal was to incorporate a fresh twist into the classic tale, similar to Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. Classic movie scenes and beloved songs are featured, while Lefou stars in new in-between story scenes; adding a different character’s perspective, along with even more comedic relief.

Angela Lansbury, Mrs. Potts herself, narrates the show and encourages ALL to sing nice and loud… especially to the Dads who may just pretend to sing!
The Beauty & the Beast Sing-Along is a charming addition to the World Showcase – and a welcome one at that, as it’s fit for children of all ages!. It really is fun to join along and belt it out – everyone knows the words to those timeless songs from music genius Alan Menken.
Impressions de France Saved
Impressions de France will return in 4K definition on Friday, January 17th. We’ve also just discovered the theater’s updated showtimes:
The Beauty & the Beast Sing-Along will play between 11am-7pm each day, with Impressions de France showing between 7:30-9pm each evening. This schedule may change over time, after the initial new-show rush dies down.
The Palais du Cinema has already received a new marquee sign for the intermittent showtimes:

Tale As Old As Time Gallery
A new gallery showcase will open alongside the Sing-Along show, within the Palais du Cinema theater. The Tales As Old As Time gallery features props and costumes from Disney’s French-inspired productions of stage and screen. This exhibit area is located just inside the entryway of the theater.
